... I also want to get my dirty paws on the beta - i'll be honest .
I could offer virtually nothing on the live recording and routing - but i reckon some pretty power use on the midi, possibly the sampler, the synth, some of the plugins maybe, and importing tracks from Gadget etc...
I might just sign up... I've talked myself into it .
From what I've seen from your helpful, detailed posts on Gadget I reckon you'd be brilliant at this Matt.
We're not looking for any specific number of hours for a beta tester to contribute. If you think you can help us find some bugs before release, definitely sign up! Beta testers who helped us during the beta period can request a free copy after it's over
The sampler built into Auria Pro is really only a sample player, it can't record audio if that's what you're asking?
I hope no one takes you up on that offer so that you guys can continue to have sufficient funding to work on and develop Auria!
I could find a bug or too, but I know that I would prefer to pay a reasonable sum to update Auria if it helps to continue development.
NOW we're getting somewhere, thanks WML. So, is it possible to drop an audio clip from an Auria track into the sample player?
Hmm. I was expecting a full-on space age sampler with lasers... So was Mr. Fluffy.
I'm in!
I have a thing for using extra iOS devices for MIDI control via wifi. If extensive MIDI control is going to be part of Auria Pro, I will definitely be interested in testing that aspect.
also: BETA!!! wohoo, can't be too long now, right?
I signed up, and Matt, since you have totally opposite the expertise that I do, I think it will be cool that there's a good cross section of users. I'll try some midi for sure should I get selected, but I'm definitely going to put that routing through its paces!
Is it nerdy to get excited about eq'ing a reverb send or return? Probably...
Thanks @Monzo - that's very kind of you to say.
Are you signing up?
I think that's allowed, if not encouraged.
I want to, just waiting to see if two big jobs are coming in or not next week - if so I won't have any spare time. I wanted to be a tester for Diode a few months back but the work mountain took over then. They might not happen though so I might get away with it.
Latest...
It'll take us a while to sort through all the applications and pick the beta team. I'll be making an announcement when it actually starts.
Thanks,
Rim
Also Matt says:
"We'll probably wait for another day or two for more applications to come in before we start reading through them all (there's quite a few!)."
It's all good!
Didn't apply myself, but I'm sure we'll have a good team!
@WaveMachineLabs The good Mr Monzo is spot on here. You absolutely want MF2K on your team.
MF2K - I like that and request an official name change as I avoid calling his attention due to the difficulty of typing his name. Maybe even mf2k so the caps key doesn't even need to be used? ;-)
What say you @Matt_Fletcher_2000 (I copied your name from another post! Ha!)
U betta beta test the shit out of it!
Err - thanks . You're all too kind.
Not sure I can be bothered to change my name though. Those underscores aren't that tricky to find once you know where they are.
@Matt_Fletcher_2000 So you can't be bothered to change your name, but we're supposed to be OK with training ourselves (thousands of us!) to figure out this underscore business? AND you hate Gadget?
Flounces off in a tizzy
Oh, I know where they are. But do you have any idea of the incredible effort it takes to press 5 things just to get to the next character. This is a MAJOR inconvenience to me and I DEMAND you fix it. Next to this issue, clean water for many on earth pales in comparison. ;-)
All kidding aside, no matter who beta tests it I'm looking forward to the finished product and think that the variety of ways it gets used by people on this board will get any bugs discovered pretty quickly.
@Matt_Fletcher_2000
Now really all kidding aside, thanks to your post I just learned a bunch of typing shortcuts. Very cool. As they say, Danke Neal Schon.
That Neal guy's got a lot to answer for...

We're still going through the submissions and hope to be sending out emails about the beta early next week. We're trying to have it done by mid week. I'll definitely keep you posted. Can't wait to get started!
As of 10-Sep-2015 emails will start being sent to qualifying beta testers..
Don't forget to check your junk-box!
Awesome Sauce! Test'er good peeps!
A beta tester is to ensure total functionality of all features down to the minutest detail, not just whizz the fuck around an app quick to see if they like it before buying the release version or asking for a promocode..
And?Where's the problem?
Harsh.
Probably he didn't get the reply he was hoping for
We had a thread about this a few weeks ago. Lots of good thoughts in there.
