Bigotry isn't funny. Neither is police brutality. And if that reality makes you uncomfortable, you have some soul-searching to do.
Enough of that - back to the speculation... I am desperate for new sounds in Gadget!
It's going to be a mini key moog clone or mellotron clone.. Someone found the patent/trademark application on synthtopia (look in the comments)
Eh eh go eh calm down relax
mellotron inside gadget! that will be an interesting addition!
Hey, I feel some Frankie coming on here lol
I'd love to se the Korg MS-2000 as an iOS app & 'Gadget'. It was already 'digital VA' when it was released back in 2000 so the DSP-Algorithms should run pretty fast on somewhat modern iOS devices
>
Patent application for mini key moog or mellotron would indicate hardware, sounds like perhaps along the lines of the arp that korg released with mini keys. But I agree, mellotron in anything is good!!
Who knows though, internet speculation gets wild at times based on one picture.
A MS 2000 would be great. Also Korg's Poly Six. I don't think they would be that hard to port to Gadget given that Korg has already made iOS versions.
I'm 99% sure it's a new gadget called Liverpool. But I wouldn't try guessing what kind of gadget because I don't see any logic in their gadget naming. Unless it's some kind of very twisted logic i.e. iM1's UI is green and there are a lot of green crocodiles in Darwin, NT so let's name it Darwin
This is Abbey Road, St. John's Wood, London. Think the link might be The Beatles, rather than Liverpool.
As all of this #korgteaser stuff is coming from @korg_inc and @KorgUSA but not from @korg_iapps, I'm not getting my hopes up for something Gadget related this time. Though I am pretty sure Korg will have something for us pretty soon
ok, now I'm not that sure. Probably, it's got nothing to do with iOS at all. I just noticed there's a blurred synth keyboard on the picture above
Abbey Road ... Beatles ... smells a little bit like old farts ;-) I would prefer some innovative stuff for Gadget. No more retro keyboard emulations, please. Fortunatelly, my hopes are high that the teaser has nothing to do with Gadget.
Korg should open Gadget to third-party developers and allow them to create new gadgets
That would be great.
4 track tape recorder?... Beatles used a 4 track until 1968.
Yeah it's desperate - but I really want it to be audiotracks!!!
It's an Arranger:

meh.
Huh?
Do you mean this:
http://www.korg.com/in/products/software/iaudiogate/
or did they take it down?
In which case what was it?
Thanks Doug. Nothing like a 1980's stereotype to wind up your patrons.

Oh... thanks @klangsulfat - nothing for me there
.
Just dreaming...but...I'd like you could use standalone Korg apps into Gadget (iPolysix, iMS-20...) as Tabletop does with iMini, iMPC, etc.
Liverpool...

Gosh, that's horrible.
What the hell was that? So this is a Beatles karaoke keyboard? That was truly awful. And that's being kind.
This deserves a double post for the sheer awfulness that I heard in that commercial.
Well I kinda think it's groovy baby....
Hahaha...thats too funny....gotta be a piss take....hasn't it?
If not, the marketing & video editing team who did this need a clean out from top to bottom !!!
That poor guys toe and his back must be killing luggin that around.
