"Improvisation with #FugueMachine simultaneously controlling a Prophet 8, Juno-106, and tb-303. TR8 holding down the drums."
Ok, I checked it again, Use Fugue out for midi output, thus, simultaneously playing both synth apps! That is why I said limited! Now, You can do 4 synths in one channel! See attached photo. Thanks, clear out now!
Sweet.
Great, but at the moment you can't use a different playhead for a different app/ channel?
No, that would be great, I was expecting that, hope there s an update soon !

That would be great indeed for the future update!
The Mogue Machine doesn't say much about all the setting detail. So some photos here might help for your reference.
A shame bit hopefully Mr Alexandernaut will add support for that.
You could use midiflow presets to send different ranges of notes to different synths but it is an extra bit of setting up.
I still might get this in the hope it gets more development and different ways of manipulating the playheads.
Thanks for the photos @Kaikoo
I bet Alex will work on the midi features of this if you guys just ask nicely enough
The demos suggested that this was already available. Not happy, will be asking for a refund - serves me right for diving in too quickly.
Was hoping to use this multi tracking iSymphonic. Will wait this one out until Doug does his magic and shows all.

@monzo
I found Alex to be very responsive and committed when I had an issue with Arpeggionome -- so it might be a good idea to contact him before you return the app
So I can play iSymphonic instruments on different channels?

@monzo
Say I was using Sampltank, could I use the record heads to send midi to the 4 different instruments?
I've already chatted with Alex about multiple MIDI channels. Early versions had this in play, but needed to be scrapped at the time due to note on/note off issues for same notes.
He's stated that it is a top of the list update that he's working on.
This feels almost like Genome's remix pad on steroids, pretty sure @Matt_Fletcher_2000 is going to love this.
Is the polyrhythmic control via the dotted and triplet part on the UI?
What would be nice as well as separate midi outs, is a midi jitter effect for the playhead(s).
Can you import a melody from a midi file, or do you have to enter it in the piano roll?
So after a little bit of playing, his app is awesome !
I could manage to do what I initialy wanted to do:
End up with the 4 tracks in 4 separate synth in gadget !
if you use 4 very different octave so there's no overlaping notes between the tracks, it's easy to record in 1 track, then copy/paste, delete the unwanted parts in 4 different synth
then transpose to the intialy wanted octave, edit/automate from there...
jamming with the slider to transpose, playing live, the results are worth it !
since gadget doesn't have separate midi channels, I'm not too sad about the lack of separate midi channels in fugue machine for now, though, it would still be a nice addition
I hope my message makes sense
And sync start/stop, clock is super tight with gadget also !
Could you ask him to join this thread, please?
there is midi in (record from midi pro ?), although I havent tried yet, but as far as I know, no midi import
Hey guys, super cool to wake up and see this discussion :]
Quick note about sending the playheads on independent midi channels... not yet! But soon. It turned out that sending all playheads on just one channel (as it works now) was actually much "more" difficult to develop. So I aimed to solve this first.
More specifically, I had to handle cases when multiple playheads trigger the same note! I couldn't just send another Note On or Note Off for the same note, since there is no standard for how this is handled. I had to trigger note ons and offs a bit more intelligently.
In any case, I will definitely be adding the ability to send each playhead to independent devices and channels. As well as combinations of playheads to various channels. It's on the top of my list!
