iGrand is a steal at the sale price. I have CMP, iGrand and Module. So I think it comes down to how much space you have and if you like having lots of piano sounds. Doug from TSTR does a great comparison video.
Thanks mate! I obsessed with piano sounds and even with the Module ivory iap I have, I'm not entirely convinced.
The problem is what you are saying, space in my iPad 3 16 gbs...
I'll go to the Air 2 when the price reduction so I think gonna buy iGrand.
I'll take a look at the Dog video.
Thanks again.
I can confirm that Bias, and JamUp for that matter take the cake in Distortion. Sooo easy to dial in a great rock or metal tone. Tonestack, on the other hand, still has the best IMO in FX like the non distortion stuff.
Elite Audio Recording Course, how is it? For $3.00 I might bite. I need all the help I can get.
+1
5 stars on 11 reviews. It's about 1 gig in size, though. I think he offers a desktop version for 5 bucks. There's also a 2 minute overview video if you scroll down this page:

Thanks for the confirmation - matches what I've heard others say.
Does the basic BIAS app include decent distortions or would I need IAP's?
I still use the one that came with Bias FX for my metal(Thrash) Distortions. I did buy the upgrades, but I really like the couple distortions that came with the base app.
If/when you get it, look up these in the cloud. They are my patches, that I made with a couple amps from Bias(that others made), They are great for scores of Metal.
Bias 666 Split
Split Thrash preset
Argon 666
Megadethish
Then I decided to add an extra EQ, and got the above presets to be a bit thicker. Good stuff
Argon 666 EQ X 2
Let me know what ya think!
Jam Maestro just went from $8.99 to $0.99 I have a feeling this will be a short sale

Really tempted by the BIAS FX sale, though on my iPad 2, it may turn into the digital equivalent of a paperweight. $20 is less than the cost of even a Chinese distortion pedal, so it seems like a worthwhile risk if the app would be at all playable. And I do hope to upgrade my iPad (for real this time) in the next few months.
BIAS FX looks like a legit product, but I'm a little annoyed with Positive Grid right now. The original BIAS, which was considered the "latest and greatest" as of late 2013, sits there with a 3-star iTunes review right now and is kind of a buggy, crash-prone mess. Truth is that it was probably best used on the level of hardware we're just now getting from Apple (Air 2 and iPad Pro), but they continue to put out overlapping products that require new downloads and new purchases. Integrating BIAS amp models into JamUp Pro XT never worked as well as it should have, so they release an all new "sequel" to BIAS with its own IAP's to cover basically the same suite of effects.
In terms of pure amp modeling, I still think they have the best stuff, but the BIAS line has been unreliable for me (home noodling and recording, not live performance), and I'm not crazy about their approach to new apps and IAP's.
Those are some very, very good points. All of them. I think I would throw Final Touch in their with Bias Amps. I have more trouble with that than Amps app.
Positive Grid just released the blue tooth pedal thingy, and now will have an announcement next week of some other hardware.........hmmm....
They sure are good at making/releasing new "stuff".
Jam Maestro is certainly a very, very good app!
Brilliant, thanks for the info!
I'm going to checkout Jam Maestro (thanks for the heads-up @thesoundtestroom) as well, as that's a price that's difficult to ignore...
