  • Woodsynth didn’t seem to land too well round here so I’ve never bought it. Does anyone use it regularly?

  • Some of his apps are normally $3.99.... I wonder if they will go lower?

I think that "all" means "all" :D

I guess so. No discounts on his FX apps. We shall see in a few days time.

Are those wood apps any good? I see them on the list of apps that can do sidechaining, and they seem to tick all the boxes, but I don’t usually see people talking about them here

The WoodStepper one looks pretty deep, although based on what I have read on here people have struggled with understanding it. It does appear to offer a few things that other sequencers do not so I may take a punt.

  • Staffpad IAPs (sample libraries) are 30% off in the store.

  • So I am playin it smart this BF and I loaded my App Store account with a specific gift card balance to budget spending, and removed credit card method; this will hopefully force me to think hard if I truly wanna go over budget

Also this will hopefully force me to get even more use out of the apps I do buy haha!

  • I just really hope Eventide does a sale and announces it soon, cuz this App Store balance is burning a hole in my pocket and I wanna know how much extra I have to spend after I complete my bundles with all their apps 😂

  • Staffpad itself is now less than half price at $40.

I love this "I'm protecting myself from myself" vibe here. 👌

Yeah. And today is only monday

  • Already caved a wee bit and scooped a nembrini amp. Audio modeling’s sale is looming over my head and I do want the rest of the strings, a sax or two, and a trumpet...but even at the sale price those would go over budget lmao

That audio modeling sale goes til the 30th, tho, so I like to imagine that scooping up a few of those after the fact will just be a completely separate endeavor than the Black Friday thing...
.....yes....whatever I need to say to justify this to myself....lol

  • It's really easy to save money when you already own all the apps.

Haha I was at this point a year or two ago for my purposes...step out of the game for a while and boom, you have a year of catching up to do again!

I've had hit or miss experience with them, but I think it's worth taking a look.

  • man, I've spent way too much money thinking that I should get something in case I need it in the future. I ended up with a bunch of stuff that overlaps (Impulsation, NuRack, and a Nembrini amp). Last thing I'm going to grab is a Bram Bos app (just one) and that's that. I'm debating between Hammer Shark and Rozeta Sequence suite. Probably will go with the later.

  • I think some have been mentioned but in the interest of continuity…

  • Graphic design

Affinity Designer is $11 off down to $9.99

Both are amazing I’d wait to see about a sale. Bram usually does a Black Friday sale, you might be able to get both for the price of one regularly priced app.

Dope. Which ones are favorites I listened to some examples of presets but wasn’t sure?

They're all useful as sources of inspiration to make your own presets from the new source samples but the Cinematic one has the most inspirational presets of the bunch (at least for the sort of granular shenanigans I'm inspired by).

    Thanks.

That’s kind of what I do. I have a list of apps I’m most interested in and try to budget. I get a discounted $100 gift card, or a gift card with a free store gift card included, then try not to spend it all, maybe leave $20 on my account for iCloud or whatever. I also try to make sure I spread the love. If I realize I bought nothing but synths and fx, I’ll look for a sequencer, or maybe a drum machine and vice versa.

  • Ambient Room X Is a must have

  • I caved this morning.. bought the whole enchilada IAP in Synthmaster 2 (the desktop thing, and the preset bundle thing that’s like 40 bucks)

So between Synthmaster 1 and Synthmaster 2, I now have like 8000 something presets! lol

Thanks for this info I was looking for.
I've bought the Deskop IAP and I've found many presets really "almost identical". 😶

I’ve barely skimmed the surface so far, but I will say I’m seeing quite the variation of sounds.

Not stable in my case (Cubasis, Zenbeats and AUM) But sounds incredible

Also wanted to say that I didn’t even try the “desktop” thing before buying the bigger preset bundle. It was just that I thought I’d “need that too”, so I really don’t even know what all came with that one.

  • When does the FF Bundle discount usually get announced? Closer in to BF?
