    Question: I’m getting a little deeper into planning my fm programming rather than just messing around. Is there a way to type in values or do I have to just use the sliders to get them where I want?

    A Easel recreation on iOS is one of my dream apps. Fingers crossed 🤞 either way, just based on how good id7000, I think this one will be great.

    Is anyone here working with the desktop version? I'm getting little audio dropouts and clicks when I'm using a lot of droning voices (slow attack, about an 8 second release). I'm on a M1 Mac, and it's worse in Live but still an issue with Bitwig. I'm running an RME Babyface and their latest drivers, and have tried latency settings of 128 and 256 samples. Bitwig's CPU monitor is not showing unreasonable activity. In ID700 I'm using medium quality on envelopes and 2x oversampling. Ironically, same settings it behaves better on iOS and I don't have this problem.

    I'd really like to use Bitwig with it just because of the incredible modulation possibilities compared to my AUM setup, but obviously, I need stability.

    Did you ever solve this problem? I love this synth on ipad, and I’m contemplating getting it for desktop,….but reading what you’ve written here is making me doubt its stability ...

    i can't reproduce this locally (also on an m1). can you send me a live/bitwig project file with the midi track you're using?

    1. I made a demo video of my favorite presets from DMT Cymatics' ID700 pack, which was updated with 50 new presets at the end of last year:

    1. A technical question: I was able to import that pack from the standalone app, but it didn't appear in Aum when running it as an AU. There was only a Refresh icon, which made the app freeze. I'm running the latest OS on my iPad. Tried, reopening everything, including the iPad, with no luck. Does anyone know what's the issue?

    Sharing of presets between stand-alone apps and their AUv3 versions has been a long-standing iOS problem. Some devs in recent years have been able to solve it. I suspect this may require an update by the ID700 app developer to implement a working solution.

    Edit: Could this be a version issue? ID700 was updated to version 1.30 in Oct. 2025.

    Thanks, I had to re-install it before making the video anyway, so I did install the latest version. we'll see, I'll try to dm the dev.

    there was an issue on ios26. i just submitted a fix for this to the app store, it should be out in the next few days.

    Unfortunately the AuV3 instances still freezes in AUM when trying to import a pack.
