Miscellaneous apps with free lifetime IAP

The desktop sale has started already.

Gotta wait for the iPad sale now. Though I still haven't decided whether I need it lol.
Can BAM be used inside AUM/Apematrix or is it only standalone with its own auv3 hosting features?
Yes, BAM can be loaded as an Audio Unit into AUM (and presumably Apematrix). And that is also the case for the desktop version (on macOS anyway).
Ok, thanks. Looks interesting!
For anyone looking at the IAP, it showed as 14.99 for me in BAM, but charged the sale price correctly. Just one Aussie's experience.

Same. Hopefully an update comes through and fixes it at some point.
It appears from the app store descripton that it can host auv3 plugins. It can also function as s plug in? No offense, but I'm skeptical, but optimistic.
On that topic, I know Loopy Pro can do that, as can a number of Amazing Noises apps. Can't think of many others, someone help me out. I'll buy BAM for sure then, I dig that flexibility
The sale has arrived, it's $9

So, for owners of both, is there anything Bam can do which Drambo can’t? Is it just a slightly different workflow?
I have all the other Imaginando apps and think they’re all brilliant but I’m really on the fence regarding Bam and whether i actually need it. I suspect not if I’m completely honest with myself but maybe I’m missing something?
Just wondering whether the iap is worth it
Slightly off topic but related. Is there any advantage to getting the desktop version of VS as well (over the IOS version which I already own)? Anyone have both and care to comment? Fanks!
Yeah. What is it exactly - patterns, sounds, project?

I’ve been loading WAV files into the stand alone version of BAM and have been experiencing periodic freezes forcing me to close and restart the app. I have an iPad Pro 2018, is this a known problem or is it me?
Utility/Productivity
Folder Shortcuts @ Homescreen is $1 off at $2.99 - interesting concept

Warning: I feel like this one is sketchy. There may have been some user error involved here but...
There are 2 different apps listed under different developers in the App Store:
Live Camera - Home Monitor
Live Camera - online web cams
The icons are very similar in design so I think they are related.
I thought I installed the Home Monitor on 2 devices. I don't think I opened it on the 1st device but on the 2nd, I got online web cams. It's possible that was user error...both are hard to locate in a search, have similar icons, maybe I installed the wrong one but I'm not sure anymore. I would've sworn the app name changed after install and turned into Live Camera - online web cams--but I needed to be sure. Therefore, I reloaded the phone (2nd device was a throwaway) to check myself and installed Home Monitor again and it was NOT the online web cams app this time. Hmm.
Regardless, there is still some weirdness:
While I'm still pretty confused about exactly what occurred there, I have to strongly recommend giving this one a pass.
I just bought it, froze twice in about 30 minutes just doing very basic editing. I had the same experience with LK. Hopefully they sort this out at some point…
I'm sure they will. Very responsive and responsible developers.
It looks like a great app but it’s so frustrating. I really hope that this is something that can be fixed quickly
The download is 70mb so has to include samples. Not sure what yet though.
I don't know, but I was thinking on that subject and it occurred to me the desktop version might be better in a live performance situation where you want the visualization appear on a second screen.
These are what they are. Seem to me to be just generic loops, personally I wouldn't download them for free I hate that kind of lego music production. It is one of the things that hacks me off about logic that you can't just download sounds without getting a whole load of pre made loops.
