I swear by Goblyn. I throw that on anything I can. Such a fun distortion and easy to pull some sweet sustain out of it.
Anyone have thoughts on Mr. Hector, Banshee Nano, DriveThru Cerbes or Absylon plugins from Aurora DSP? I have Rhino, Mammoth, Dead Kitty and Goblyn and am a big fan.
Mr hector is a really really good guitar simulation. If you plan on using them on anything else than guitars/bass I’d get the absylon bass app.
The cerbes is just idk. I really like rhino gorilla mammoth and Goblyn. But cerbes felt like wasted money. The notch of sound it covers you can get with those you already own. Banshee nano I haven’t used.
Their plugins sound great. My go-to is dead kitty.

Hm. If you play a five string bass yes. But regular bass no. it’s based off of the mammoth so you should be able to get almost the same sound. Anyway every time I used it I’d come up with a sound that sounded like something I wouldn’t have dialed up with mammoth. Maybe it’s just the dials, or it’s weighted differently. Anyway for 3,99€ it’s just worth it even if you have mammoth already.
