Thanks - looks like a ‘probably not for a good while’ then. Can’t wait to get this though. I’ve had AppStore credit burning a hole for a while now.
I think he said somewhere they'd already submitted it but had to pull it because it had the wrong presets, but that an update had been submitted and was waiting for the approval process to kick in again after Easter weekend.
I'm playing with the desktop demo in the meantime and the manual is also available, both from the SB website.
Man o man. This thing looks absolutely amazing to me. Great work @SugarBytesRico. And another superb video by @Gavinski
I do have to say though the point made by @Gavinski about the looper timing is a good one. You could easily hit the wrong size/time. Plus on a looper you want to be able to rub your finger up and down it to musically change the loop lengths. Like the app MolliLooper or a Korg Kaoss Pad etc.
We are fighting the fight. It can happen anytime.

I wish Apple wasn't such a lazy slacker.
It is not exactly lazyness. They just keep on rejecting for crazy reasons. Today another attempt is made, lets hope for the best. This will already be 1.0.1 with improvements and fixes and an additional sound engine (vinyl dust emulation). Single tracks can now be swapped and copied in the parts section of the memory page.
What did you think of my comment above about the looper @SugarBytesRico?
😮
Look forward to the dusty vinyl engine!
Their approval employees are absolute incompetent idiots. I still remember how first version of NS2 was rejected with reason (if I good remember) that “it doesn’t keep play sound when put on background” - while this is explicit Apple rule that background playback must be by default disabled, just optionaly possible to enable in app settings.
Funny to see that after all those years - nothing changed.
It’s heartening to read that, across engineering disciplines, over decades, nothing changes and nobody learns.
I bet there’s a few people out there will smile inwardly knowing that it’s not just them experiencing this in isolation.
People I worked with had the impression that there were probably various systems at play (quotas and queues of some sort) and a lot of rejections seemed like they were automated and sent out based on incomplete evaluations.
Apple:

I’m probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to stop individual tracks being affected by the main effects (not the send effects)?
No, but that would be a good addition
Thanks. It would be good, indeed.
The looper times are a bit on the small side, yes.
If you are programming the looper, you can dial in the right times easy in the looper track.
You can absolutely rub the looper to change the times while it runs.
The post fx are working on the sum. I see no easy way to change that, but it might not be impossible.
Thanks for the explanation. No worries either way.
This is so very Apple.
Hey @SugarBytesRico - while we’re waiting I just want to say thank you to you and the SB team for creating the awesome apps and plugins you have over the years. They have honestly been some of the most enjoyable to play with, and most used, sounds and FX in my library. And I still revisit the older ones (like Cyclop that I was just using in a new track as it fit just right).
You’ve brought fun and function to the game! Big thanks. 🙏
+1
This is very kind, thank you!
My son is named Rico, after his great grandfather, so I have no choice but to buy the app once it’s out.
Crazy, that apples approval still lags. Sorry, but….Same recruiter as with Doge ?
Maybe it’s time to change the title of this thread. I don’t think almost 2 weeks later constitutes “soon to be released”. Didn’t we do this already, years ago with Drum Computer and Twin 3 and many others?
Ha ha, yeah spot on and I think Atom2 holds the "soon to be released" record, took close to a year if I remember correctly.
We should skip that word in the headline, if it's not a certainty.
Released.
have fun with this monster!
