I haven't had any problems today with the app on iPad or iPhone, standalone or AU. Seems very stable on my end.
would be nice if patches sync between standalone an auv3
Then it would be more helpful for any other people who've been experiencing crashes or sound problems to post their experiences.
Anything else you could add, @Samu ?
Nope, it's been working just as expected the whole day!
I've done some comparisons with TeraPro's BrainZ IAP oscillator and Elastic OSC and some things (particularly the speech oscillator) is easier to dial in with TeraPro without the 'random noises' I get from Elastic OSC when the values are between values.
That's in the making. Actually will send that to Apple for review now
Just to update anyone following the thread...
The problem has been solved. I exported 2 of my custom patches (there was a 3rd patch which could not be exported because just tapping on it would crash the app), deleted the app from my iPad Pro, re-installed it by downloading from the App Store, imported my 2 custom patches... and now it works.
I guess if anyone experiences a similar problem, try doing this and see if it works for you.
If you still have a copy of the corrupted patch anywhere, I bet that would be helpful to send to the developer.
Both ! They’re actually similar in the sense that they’re extremely deep while being easy to use but they both have distinct sounds from one another.
Nope. Unfortunately, I couldn't select the corrupted patch to export it. It immediately crashed the app, so it was deleted when I deleted the app.
Were there by chance any non alphanumeric characters such as parenthesis, slash, or colon in the name?
No. Nothing out of the ordinary.
@elasticdrums
First time using it within host. Can't access lower section - ADSR and arp when hosted in Logic with keyboard enabled (unless I'm missing something?)
Would be good to be able to scroll down.
Latest update did not solve the issue for me. I can import but only one at the time and I've done a bunch now. Would be great on export if you could select more than one as well.
Im returning this one, maybe i’ll get it later again. Needed the dough. Heres my presets, not much I think but maybe something for someone. //Best, Elastic Pixel
This paired with Prism and the Moog Fx Pedals cured my GAS for a Behringer Grind.
I also would like a dedicated HW unit but the IOS environment is so much more flexible
I really miss a proper LFOs with optional key-sync to set / re-set the LFOs start-phase in Elastic OSC...
...Envelope and LFO control over the filter and FX parameters wouldn't hurt either.
I'm NOT a fan of having to record the automation and would prefer to use synced/free-running editable 'automation curves' instead...
But that's just me...
Yes I'd love at least one LFO assignable to just about any parameter.
Don't mind the little 1/2/4 bar automation recorder too but am I right in saying it's always just running with no option to restart when a new key is hit?
Also, anyone using this in Logic? Non scrollable so can't get to env or arp when Logic's keyboard is enabled. Might just be like this Logic haven't tried other hosts.
Yeah, the lack of UI scrolling is a bit meh, one way to temporarily fix this in Logic is to bring out the Logic's browser as it will force the plug-in to re-scale. I'd also love to have an option to hide the on-screen keyboard (iPhone version has that feature) especially since it doesn't transmit any midi so it can't be used to record anything...
Ah yes good tip, thanks. Works well for Microwave too 👍(if my failing eyesight is up to it).
Pretty sure I read somewhere (here?) that the dev is looking to add LFO/s. Hope so.
Microwave has a nice 'red dot' top left that can be used to scroll the UI (tap and hold it and swipe up/down to scroll), it's easy to miss though.
My eyes are pretty bad too...
Another Logic Tip would be to rotate the iPad as Logic works very well in portrait mode too
Awesome. Thank you. Hadn't even registered the red dot!
The more "casual" implementation of a tape recorder style automation interface honestly doesn't bother me. I think this type of UI is really meant for playing live anyway, so adding more layers of complexity might make it better for production, but less performance friendly.
True but it makes simple things like adding vibrato to a sound a royal pita
I suppose so. I would like to see MPE added to this otherwise excellent synth, personally.
Bought this last night right before the into sale ended. Too busy and almost missed this one, but this is just 👍
Me too. He's been pretty clear it's not on the radar... yet. This synth would be an absolute treasure in the MPE world.
i’m hoping that once the dust settles on bugfixes, and the LFO is added that he’s been talking about, that we’ll see the arrival of MPE. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Have not read all 5 pages of this thread abd maybe it was answered already. But inwould love to have some finer control over the XY parameters. Sometimes it’s quite hard to go back to a previous setting during jamming. Especially with the 2 OP Synth.
I'd save my own preset, alter it as needed during performance and then reload the original to go back.
I suppose a "snapshot" function might be considered for the app at some point to recall variations of a patch, but that's not something that's on the table right now.
Hello,
unfortunately the last update did not solve the preset sync issues of Standalone and AUv3.
Damn, I should test a bit more before sending out.
If anybody wants to join the beta test group, please send me an email (with your Apple email) to:

App rescaling / Logic Automation issues will get fixed next.
After speaking with some people at Superbooth, I am considering now MPE also. Dunno how long implementation will take though. Expecting some weeks ...
I would buy if MPE
