@Littlewoodg i totally get what you mean. I had the same experience.
The thing is though, auria taught me a lot about refining, editing, bouncing, effects, layering, workflow.
It’s a strange thing but when it could do all I wanted, it sparked some creativity until I then pushed for me. I sort of leaned and grew with it.

yep, there is a lot there, a lot way before everybody else had it going on.
more capability than I actually use. My stuff is pretty bare bones.

  • I consider it to be about the closest thing to a Tascam Model 12

  • @espiegel123 yes I see it. That’s a strange problem

@Littlewoodg thanks - yeah it seems to be a real sleeper. When I read the specs it seemed to be the most amazing DAW I never heard of. Has it ever been on sale?

  • @ecou thanks. Yes I tried it as an insert on the channel and it worked fine. Might be a aux send thing.

I’ve been revisiting mixing again in Auria and I’ve got to say that it’s easily the fastest, easiest programme to mix in that I’ve used on iOS. Mostly because of the interface being set up like a mixing console. It has channel strips built in to the channels and it versatile in it’s bussing setup. Easy peasy. You’re not stuck inside some kind of weird boxed window arrangement. Anyway, that’s just me and I’m glad I fired it up one more time. It pretty much ticks all my boxes for mixing tracks.

I have had the same problem today putting PSP stereo delay in a aux. Certain track where getting delay others not. Weird.

I agree it is a great mixing environment. I been using it as that since I bought it in 2018. That was at @richardyot recommendation. Cubasis for midi, Auria for mixing mastering.

  • Does auria pro run on ios 18?

  • Yes but on my M4 pro 11 the screen is not optimized. . . . But in ios18 it for sure works.
    I really like Auria.

  • I really hope it gets updated. It was my go-to DAW a couple years back.

I am on a M2 Pro 11 and I don’t have the sizing problem. I tought there was some adjustement in the menu for that but I can’t seem to find it.

  • Yes the settings are for retina support . . . . but that unfortunately does not fix what I see here.

  • I got back into AP for it’s AAF export feature. Increasingly I appreciate iOS DAWs and groove boxes new and old with easy project export to PC DAWs. And AP still boasts a lot of best-on-the-platform native features.

  • How does one get to replace drums with Drumagog ?

I have Auria pro, I have Drumagog, but when trying to replace drums I’ve had some issues

I followed a lot of tutorials with mixed results

    1) how do you get other drum gog files into Auria pro as kit pieces? Like snares, kicks etc ?

    2) how do you change the drums accurately ? It detects it and changes it with the drumagog but the settings elude me if anyone knows a good tutorials I’d appreciate it

    3) anyway to convert audio drums into midi drums (so you can just import GM2 into Octachron + one shot? )

Logic and Live do something similar with beat detection now but anyway, just trying to see how to do it and also expand the library

If you want to throw in on Logic and Live ability to do this please feel free

    Thanks
    Happy fourth
    Your friend and mine ;)
