Is there any possibility that this could be released for Mac as well?

Already asked about that. No plans for macOS versions of the apps. I think the AudioKit framework does not make it easy to port to other systems.

  • If this were available for the Mac, I'd probably be rich 😅
This is going to be a secret weapon for iPad/iPhone users

Version 0.93 submitted to app store. I suspect it should be available in a couple of days

    THANKS EVERYONE, BIG UPDATE!
    ++ FINE TUNE / DETUNE SLIDERS ++
∙ Each oscillator now has its own Tune & Fine Tune / Detune controls!
∙ Tap the “Tune” button to switch between Semi-Tune and Fine-Tune modes.
∙ Want to reset a tuning slider to zero? Just double-tap it!
∙ Most controls now support double-tap to snap back to the preset’s original value: super handy for experimenting.

++ Detune Details (for Synth Fans!) ++
∙ Detune sliders weren't in the original Juno series, this new feature is inspired by the Jupiter line.
∙ For a classic Juno-style sound: try using just one oscillator, set Unison (SuperSaw) to Detune, or simply adjust the Retro Tuning knob for that vintage vibe.
∙ With Retro Tuning on, each key press slightly varies the tuning: so you might not need the extra detune sliders at all!

++ Better MIDI Preset Change Support ++
∙ We’ve improved compatibility so preset changes via MIDI should now just work: whether you're using a classic DX7 or running Synth One J6 in your iPad as an external instrument in Ableton. ie Change a preset on your synth midi controller, and it should change on Synth One J6

    • Other quick fixes and improvements.
The App will continue to get better and better!

  • Is PWM possible?

Just a quick note: the beta video earlier in this thread and on the website explains why there’s no PWM. Also, the original Synth One didn’t have it, so we stayed consistent with that.

That said, the upcoming Jupiter-8 emulation app does have PWM. If the J6 had it too, there wouldn’t be much point in making a dedicated Jup-8 app (other than a couple of esoteric features like Cross-Modulation). Especially now that I’ve added OSC Fine Tune, which is another big feature the Jupiter-8 had but the Junos didn’t. It’s one of those little details that helps each app keep its own character.

Thanks so much. Does the Jup 8 have that wonderful chorus?

    Well... the hardware Jupiter-8 doesn't ;)

No it does not. Piece of junk. Don’t know why people want them.

While there is a clearly a need for product differentiation I’d hope this always lands on the side of Jupiter-8…
