Oscidia - Wavetable Synthesizer by 4Pockets Audio (Released)

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/oscidia/id6748944379
Oscidia is an AUv3 plugin for iOS which can be loaded into your favorite DAW allowing you to use it as a sound source for any MIDI source. Its wide range of features and oscillator types allow it to produce a vast variety of sounds. In particular, the inclusion of WaveTable greatly expands the traditional wave types and brings a wealth of modulation options. Oscidia has 3 oscillators per voice, and each oscillator can be a different wavetable - all working and morphing together to create some incredibly amazing sounds.
Oscidia includes SINE, SAW, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, SUPERSAW, SUPERSQUARE, WAVETABLE and ADDITIVE wave types. You can import and export compatible wavetables using drag and drop directly to the WaveTable manager. Wavetables support morphing and warping (phase distortion), all controlled by the Mod Matrix routing. The SINE and TRIANGLE wave types both support several wave folding modes which allow dramatic real-time morphing too.
Oscidia also supports 5 filter types which support 12/24dB modes and morphable LP/BP/HP filter modes which can be automated from the Mod Matrix or via the Sequencer. The sequencer itself is very unique and allows up to 3 simultaneous ARPs to play at the same time. Each ARP can directly control the 3 oscillator levels independently per step, as well as the pitch, filter morph, cutoff frequency, probability, gate, note repeat and ties. This allows for some really complex rhythms to be created that are not tied to pitch.
Oscidia Features:
• 3 Oscillators Per Voice.
• Support for Wavetable and Additive synthesis.
• WaveTable supports Morph and Warp (Phase
Distortion) features.
• 4 LFOs Per Voice.
• 5 Filter types with 12/24-bit slopes and morphable LP/BP/HP.
• 4 ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release ) or FEG (Fluid Envelope Generators).
• Wave Folding is available for basic waveforms such as SINE and TRIANGLE.
• OSC Sync.
• XMod & Ring Mod (on osc1 & osc2).
• Additive Synthesis for glass, metallic and bell like tones.
• Build in Sequencer (with 3 independent ARPs).
• Mod Matrix.
• MPE Mode.
• Internal Effects - reverb, delay, chorus, Haas, and Phaser effects.
• Drag and Drop for import and export presets and wavetables.
• Build in Help Manual.

If any of you that grab this could try importing some serum tables that would be great. 👍 It's not a deal breaker for me but I'm away from my stuff right now so I'd appreciate it.. I'll grab it regardless I'm interested to see if it will dnb..
A new beautiful tool !
Is it also for iphone?
The other 4pockets apps are way to small to operate onba phone
Wavecloud for example is the same scale as the ipad version on the iphone.
Yes it is, and quite usable too, think RingsFX.
FWIW I found some wavetables from Ocean Swift and loaded up a few and it accepted them and they worked fine. They did not load as serum wavetables into GrooveRider II however.
*Edit: Tried some more serum wavetables that I found - both single cycle and multiple and they worked in both GRII and Oscidia, so looking pretty good.
Nice one thanks for trying it out.. 👍
RingsFX is so good.
4pockets did not respond on my email
about Wavecloud being unusable on an iphone.
The app is for iphone and ipad but it is only scaled for ipad.
I think appsupport by the developer is very important.
I cant stand filling in a form and never hearing back
looks like a softsynth where everything is done right.
WaveCloud can be scaled. Settings —> Force Full Screen and set to OFF.
Thank you very much.
I probably couldnt see the settings button : )
Can not find the settings button
because the text and knobs are just to small.
Cant read it.
There you go.
Ah, thank you very much
someone checked scaling on a phone in auv3?
is it usable?
Yes! It worked. It is now screenfilling
thanks! what daw?
Garageband and Aum
Looks good but can't see any Unison options for the Analogue Oscillators. Surprised by that - seems a big omission. Have I missed it?
Isn't the super-saw = unison in practice?
I suppose it is for Saw waveforms but Tera Pro (which is my go-to synth and in the same space as a multi-oscillator type synth) can apply Unison across all Oscillators as well as to the first Oscillator separately for all standard waveforms and more.
I think Paul's UI is a brilliant solution to universal apps. While it's really tiny, I love that I'm able to use them on my phone and iPad. I have a 12x pro and use all of Paul's apps with no major display issues.
I know my phone is a little larger than most though, so I consider myself fortunate.
I'm really surprised how little attention this one gets, I checked on FB as well. Maybe it's bad timing or something, or you are like me, with a shitload of synths that never get used and adding another one, well not now anyhow.
Anyway, almost feel bad for him..
I know what you mean. Perhaps we're collectively synthed out? I just counted my collection: 116
and that's not including the many others I have on DAWs, groovebox etc... even bloody Koala has got a synth now
Yeah, it is a shame, because it is really good. Remind me a bit about Continua from Audio Damage - just without the constant crashing!
Yes, it’s surprising, because it’s a very full featured synth, one of the richest on the platform.
I only haven’t learned how to load external wavetables yet.
Agree, it's a great synth. There aren't that many do-it-all synths either. Tera Pro, Butter Synth, Synthmaster spring to mind. Hope it does well but there are just so many great iOS synths it's hard to cut through.
Now that you mention it, Oscidia made me rediscover ButterSynth, that wavetable editor is something out of this world.
Interesting, I use Continua quite a lot and it's never crashed on me...
