Its turns it into a normal drumkit
have you figured out how to trigger it?
Sound Module mode ( AUv3 ) turns the plugin into a drum sound player, letting you trigger the sounds directly from your DAW or an external MIDI file, just like a drum module.
i tried that in cubasis. didn't react to midi notes>no sound
It should work, pay attention to the midi channel, by default 10
anyone got that working?
@EnvelopeFollower
Could you try in AUM ?
Works for me in Loopy Pro. Are you sure that you are sending the right notes on the right channel? Note that octave numbering might be different in Cubasis than the Lumbeats app (octave numbering can vary between apps as there is not a universal convention)
i tried over all octaves in cubasis midi ch 10 both apps. no luck.
Is the Cubasis track armed?
I just tested in Cubasis. It works here.
Perhaps you can make a screen recording that slowly demonstrates the setup then post a link to the video
Same, works very well indeed.
@EnvelopeFollower - what is sending the midi to Cubasis? Are you sure that it is sending on channel 10? Setting the channel in Cubasis to 10 doesn't change the channel of the midi being received, it only filters the input.
btw, you can change the channel to listen to in Pop Drummer. Just be sure that Cubasis is set to listen on the same channel as the sender or to All.
-make sure midichannel 10 selected in standalone
-open a midi channel in cubasis
-insert popdrummer and set it to soundmodule
-draw a midifile with 16th notes from -c2 to +c4
-hit play....no sound
i also tried the channel depending midi settings in the midi channel, no sound
anyway, iam not going to use it anyway, just saying i get no sound from it.
ok, i get sound when i use steppolyarp as midi source choosing the right midi channel there.
i don't get any sound using the cubasis keyboard or draw a midi file.
what midi channel is it default when i create a midi channel and draw some notes inside cubasis?
>
If you are using the AU, set the midi channel in the AU itself not the standalone
To simplify things, set it to 1
can you show me where i can change the midi channel in the auv3?
i don't have that in cubasis
tap on sound module and post a screenshot
ok, once again to the folks using it with cubasis as auv3:
i don't ask for users using different setup
can you post a short clip?
pure silence. some people post without verfiy.
seems to be common today> @Ailerom said:

@EnvelopeFollower : this is how the ui looks on my ipad in loopy pro
if soundmodul is working, then you have your "midi import"
good luck programing drums like lumbeats do.
i believe you. but iam not using loopy pro in this case.
