So on the intuitiveness (or lack thereof) … how do I add a module?
They're currently £4.99, and have been that price for quite some time, but were £9.99 when I bought them way back when.
You're about to find out your tolerance level for Tera Pro's workflow.
Modules only appear when they are selected as an input to another module. This means building backwards e.g.
If you want a FILTER module to appear, choose FILTER as an input e.g. to the AMP or MIXER or some other module.
It takes a bit of getting used to, but it does make sense in the end.
Easy once you grasp that all you need to do is work backwards from your intended result. Start at the Amp rather than the oscillators. It's the best and most complete all round synth on IOS...
Thanks! What an awesome deal!
And you're not just paying for individual modules in a sense, as they combine in unexpected ways and end up being greater than the sum of the parts eg BrainZ (or any other signal for that matter) can be used as an exciter for RingZ and, and then RingZ can be used as its own input, and what kind of outer rim of sonic exploration that might lead to who knows?
I just got sucked into a huge sonic landscape man! Got this preset that literally runs forever! I love it but now I don't know how to make it stop lol.
I can lower the drive but it still sounds in the back like a very mellow pad. But oh boy this synth is mega deep man!
I just got it and BrainZ on sale. I have no idea how to do anything lol. I can afford another IAP (saving up for the inevitable deluge of sales). So waddya think: RingZ or Waves?
I thought the base app already had wavetable capability. Maybe it does idk. But a second wt is surely a good thing, no?
I saw Doug's awesome video on the waves library and had to go for it! There's one IAP for .99 cents too. I am saving too but this one is a total treasure!
Yeah, Waves seems like the obvious second choice, with RingZ and the FM engine tied for third.
Yeah, Doug does an amazing job at showing both in action! And, using Drambo which I really wanna learn.
Speaking for myself, I prefer the Ringz add-on.
They were a while ago. What price are you being asked for an iap? If it's around $5, then they're still on sale
It’s a whole new version! 😮 Now I’m confused, should I hype my expectations or skepticism? 🤭
"it’s a whole new version! 😮 Now I’m confused, should I hype my expectations or skepticism? "
huh!?
so we need to pay again for the app and all the iaps!?!:(
that I won't do...
It’s a free update according to the text on the official YouTube channel. So… nothing to worry about! 😌

No, it's a free upgrade for anyone who has Tera Pro 2
oh!
good to know;)
thanks!
That's mentioned in the video description of the video Philandering Bastard posted above
any news on Mi Clouds port?!
that would be a lot of fun in the whole Tera Pro structure...
I have a feeling that will come when the next update drops (there's already a placeholder IAP in place for it).
Yeah I hope that will drop too - given the way the placeholder entry has been on the IAP menu for quite some time.
one month later
and no drop...:)
odd way of advertising...
Beginning to wonder where this has got too. Guessing it's complex under the hood and he wants to get it right.
Yes! Same here. “Buchla Arp.” It does inspire me though. Where is the panic button?!
Love all of their apps. If only they would add a favorites option for presets.
Ha you’re definitely in the wild frontiers of feedback sound design there … this kind of patch sometimes needs a kick to get it going (i.e. it needs an initial sound to prime the feedback loop) but once it’s going it canters off like a wild steed released from the stall and doesn’t want to be tamed!
