4 apps that seem to NEVER go on sale, even for Black Friday...

    • Sensual Sax
    • Ioniarics
    • WebSDR
    • RMX-1000

    Maybe this year...?

Ioniarics is definitely my go-to generative MIDI app, but yes it'd be nice if it were to go on sale for Black Friday:

Just a heads up WebSDR has stopped working for a number of stations including University of Twente. Others work fine but Twente has the broadest spectrum.

  • I’d like to buy Logic Pro but…

Is Apple every gonna ditch the subscription model for the iPad Logic?

    Don't think so...

Don’t quote me on this, but I’m planning on spending approximately £0.00 on plugins until at least the remainder of 2025.

    I have too many already.

If I want a new one I just need to go through my plugin folders and pick one I forgot I already have and use that :-)

    🙌💯

  • Hoping that Weeping Wall or Ridgewalk go on sale, maybe a discounted bundle. Love Waymaker!

  • @Squishy he’s been teasing a new one as well

I haven’t purchased drambo or patterning 3 - those are pretty much my list at the moment.

But then whatever pops up in the sales seems to pique my interest and off I go saving money.

Yes, I've been waiting for Drambo for quite a while. With my current setup, I'm no longer certain how useful it would be, but I've refused to consider anything else that catches my eye until I do get Drambo.

It helps in part since it's been so long, but if I'm sure of anything it's that I don't want the same plugin bloat I ended up with on Windows. Keeping it as tight as I can this time :/

  • Waiting for the Waldorf apps to go on sale. Specifically, Microwave and Blofeld. Already have both on my laptop (and in past years I owned the hardware). Have tons of patches for both.

    OooOoOooo 😮

  • Will grab davinci resolve studio IAP if it ever gets a discount.

I’ve been eyeing that and Bandit for sound design. FAC sales seem to be sporadic (according to AR they don’t really participate in Black Friday), but fingies crossed!

+1 for Punchlab, I use it on all my drums!

I think I’m mistaken on that. I think it was a little bit ago but now it’s just the effects.

    Microwave is lovely, imho.

  • Staffpad

Do you know what is the regular price ? (It is actually 50$, it it already discounted?)
And is it working with the 2024 pen?

Tried both old pencil and the new pro pencil, both are working perfectly. Can't say about the price, I bought it a long time ago and payed in another currency, but 50$ sounds cheaper than what I paid

  • Just saw Doug's video on Blofeld and wow! Totally on my list now.

  • Absolutely no money left for app sales now as I got tempted and bought V Collection 11 Intro and 3 GForce synths in the sales. Along with purchasing Logic, Ableton and Reason recently, think I have enough to keep me going for a year at least!

Think I'm going to have to have the year off purchases now lol

  • I’ve got a few Aurora DSP amps I haven’t gotten and I usually pick something up from them. I’d probably get Laney Ironheart or Laboga Mr. Hector next. If the new Banshee amp comes to iOS between now and then that would be awesome.

Laney Digbeth or Mammoth for me! (Just realizing now I’m all loaded up with guitar apps but only own Gorilla for my poor bass… 🙃)

  • Okay, I thought I replied with what I want for Black Friday, bur apparently I didn't yet. 😆 My answer is...

-Any new IAPs for Module and Cubasis 3 and FLSM

    -Audio sample packs I like

Just dropped some money on the entire collection of packs from Samples from Mars, so I think I'm good on those. Lenberg has some of those SfM packs in Auxy Studio, so been meaning to grab those for a while.

Now if any IAPs are released for the aforementioned apps, you can bet I'll jump on those asap!

  • @jwmmakerofmusic did you see the $2 pack deals from loop masters, granted it’s $50 total but damn it’s a lot of samples

I’ve been considering completing my Quantovox bundle.

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/quantovox-3-year-anniversary-bundle/id1781627430

Only $10 for RealPhase, True Pan and whatever that Mid Side madness does. I do like Spatializer and Ringotron a lot. I’m not a phaser guy though, and I’m not sure what the use case is for the other stuff. Anyone have these?

All the Quantovox apps are great, especially RealPhase. Ringotron can make crazy sounds with even the simplest material played through it. I have used True Pan and Spatializer a fair bit, but still haven’t got around to using Mid Side yet.
