I think it applies to preset packs, too -- which can be used on iOS.
Ah, I couldn't find anything on the Synthmaster 2 page of their website, but it looks like you can buy packs here:

And presumably import them?
Thanks. Bought it. Been after it for ages.

I have literally hundreds of plugins. I keep seeing plugins on this forum, thinking "ooh that looks cool" and then going to the App Store to find I already own it and have it installed.
I'm at the point where I need to impose some discipline on myself. Like, every time I'm tempted to buy a new plugin, I should force myself to spend an hour with a plugin I've already purchased and never used that does the same thing.
That’s a great rule - many people have old plugins they bought that they’ve never used or learned properly. Just go back to those and learn them or have a play with them. Far better than just loading up on more stuff that ends up mostly unused
@offbrands Transit 2 just released on iOS and it's on an introductory sale so I wouldn't count on it being discounted any further. I do recommend it, it's an amazing FX app.
Get Transit 2, mate. It's only 10 quid, and you'll be happy you did. I didn't even know it was released until I saw it advertised in the App Store when downloading Dervoco onto my iPhone. 😂 I'm like, "Yep, buy".
If there’s a sale for Audio Thing I’m in trouble. And I’m sure I’ll have to grab something from Bram Bos. I don’t “need” anything, but I’m definitely tempted by interesting effects and unique plugins.
I might buy Fugue Machine Rubato if it went on a 50% or better sale. I doubt that will happen though.
Completely forgot about that one! Funny how things come and go in waves
Unfortunately it's ridiculously expensive, priced at 70€ so even at 50% I wouldn't consider it.
It’s well worth a buy, especially if you have a mixed rig
I hate to say it but for me the deterrent on something like this often is that it looks like a one person shop. I know that is kind of brutal but given how even paid apps are almost like subs in a way, in that they are like services that can vanish due to circumstance, I tend to shy away from that now on a higher price tag.
Yes it was a pretty big "might".
"one person shop"?
Single dev as opposed to a large company. Ack, I shouldn't even have brought it up. But the past few years I have had so many apps, tools etc get abandoned by small operations and when I look at how foundational an app like this could be in my workflow I just don't want it hinging on a person to keep the lights on. Yah, I suck, whatever and I am sure my point is full of holes.
That's why I'd like more developer adopt the Loopy Pro model for bigger apps.
I wasn't referring to developers that only develop a single app. I was talking about companies that are completely reliant on one person. I mean, that is why I feel crappy saying it because of course I would want solo devs to be successful but for a creative tool to hinge on only one person, it can be owch if something dire happens.
That would be a fairly sizable portion of the most popular iOS music apps.
The reality is that small developers seem more likely to remain engaged and innovative than larger devs where iOS is concerned.
