I have to admit I haven’t used any of my Audio Damage apps in years. I’ve simply moved on to better alternatives.

For reverbs, I'm debating TB Reverb, Eos 2, and FabFilter Pro R2. I'm curious what you consider is a better alternative to Eos 2, or maybe more if there is something it lacks that something else does or does better.

Music App IAP Sales

Great catch! Thanks for sharing.
Lumbeat Sales are usually very short, so if on your list, grab it.
I wonder if Lumbeat might do an app a day this week. That be cool.
Eos 2 isn't one of the Audio Damage apps I own, but check out FAC Alteza (which I do own) and (as you mentioned) TB Reverb, which is also good.
Thats a tough call. Theres so many reverbs. Some are better for realistic reverb, some for specific types of reverbs, and some for more abstract reverbs.
I don’t have the FF, but they are iPad only, if that is a consideration you have. FF are generally considered some of the best applications available in iOS music.
TB Reverb is great, its one of my go to reverbs, it works on iPhone and iPad, and is priced reasonably.
Blackhole, FAC Alteza, and a few others are great for some more atmospheric type reverbs.
Eventide also makes some good specific reverbs like spring and plate.
Theres a few good free reverbs too like AK Pro reverb, blamsoft reverb, Room Reverb, etc..
The new XenoVerb looks good, its a reverb suite so multiple options, but i don’t have that one yet…
Id highly recommend watching some Tubes to compare the apps.
Can you think of better alternatives?
And what about the audiothings apps like the things.
I had it on my list to check out, and it may be great, but I restricted my list to products available both on iPad and Windows as VST3.
When recording in Loopy Pro, I want to be able to add these effects on top of recorded audio, but keep the recordings themselves clean until I pull them to the PC for arrange, produce, mix. Being able to have the exact same reverb and delay settings at that point will help a lot, while then being able to further tweak them for room spacing and things with a mixing mindset.
Sales is Au App store are often not much to get excited about. If you want real disappointment check out Fugue Machine Rubato
Thanks @Poppadocrock - After some in-depth digging and videos, I have a few like Eventide Blackhole, Phonolyth Cascade, and rymdigare on my list to consider, just for the moment am focused on things that have both an iPad and Windows VST3 version that can be used for solid core reverb cases.
In this case, I'd need to upgrade my FabFilter Pro-R to R2 on the PC to have parity since I don't see any way to get Pro-R on the iPad now, and it's actually a little cheaper to grab both the Eos 2 or TB Reverb iPad and VST3 versions than to upgrade FF. Which feels ... well, enough to make me consider these alternatives, lol.
I agree. Toneboosters reverb is on my guitar Pedalboard along with Black hole for Deep ambient stuff. FF Pro R is great but honestly I never really used it in Auria Pro. I like TB because it's universal and perfect for my guitar Pedalboard.
I'd actually love to add some physical pedals like the Red Panda Particle V2 and Gamechanger Audio Plasma with the hardware I'm recording, which are my primary sources.
I've definitely considered the Blackhole pedal as well, since I used the plugin frequently when composing on the PC, but I've been challenged to figure out if the pedal has all the same effects as the plugin, like the H8000 preset, or if I'd actually need one of the other Eventide pedals to get that same effect.

Kymatica. Highly underrated as a good all-around reverb IMHO. Many of the other reverbs don’t sound good to me. I’ve never been happy with any of the Eventide apps for instance. I know! Scandalous!! 😎✌🏼

Agreed, at least with the underrated part, all 4 Kymatica FX are great, and not mentioned that often. I actually use the dub delay all the time.
In terms of eventide to each their own.

Yes, they are usually my first stop for each of those types of effect.
Ever since I got my used iPhone 12 Pro Max and loaded To ex Max as a plugin in Loopy Pro, I never looked back at hardware pedals. They cost too much and now you can do the same if not better sounds with software plugins. Especially from great Devs here that make unique stuff that rival actual hardware pedals. I still use 2 hardware overdrives in my Pedalboard and that's because I love them. But even a sought after overdrive like the JHS Kilt V1 pedal, I already have it as a plugin in Tonex and I use it on my board all the time! I paid like $10 bucks for the plugin and man, the actual pedal goes for $600 used. I can have different instances and automate the plugin to my hearts desire, try that with hardware and playing live.
Save money, live better....
I had Kymatica on my list for a few things, but it doesn't look like they make a PC version of their products - I want to be able to apply reverb and delay to recorded audio while I'm creating, but not bake it in, and instead re-add them when arranging, producing, and mixing the tracks when pulled over to the PC with the same settings as a starting point to refine room spacing with a focused mindset.
But there is a workaround that I sometimes use. You can assign a MIDI message to control "Tap Tempo", which essentially puts AUM's tempo under the control of an external MIDI device.
It's a seriously fair point. I am grabbing Nembrini's Black Distortion and Big Stuff plugins for ProCo Rat 2 and EHX Big Muff Pi replicas, which I think will be fine.
I get there are some arguments for that thing that physical gear adds, and can actually here a difference in some cases - it's one reason I'd love to specifically have a Nord Lead 2 with 18-bit DAC at some point, but not the 2X or others with the 24-bit DAC. But I'm not worried about it for several effects.
That said, I also moved to dawless to get away from the computer and mouse, at least for all creative work. Touch with the iPad generally feels better, but still not as good as hands-on, so I like that option where possible and not prohibitively expensive. I can probably find something similar to what the Red Panda Particle V2 does, though I'll need to see if there is something I can map independently with a small controller for hands on. I try to avoid the process of touch interaction for loading plugins as well, but it's not too bad.
That said, while there are lots of amazing things, I haven't seen a plugin that sounds quite like the Gamechanger Audio Plasma, or that would have as simple of an interface to get there. Would be cool to learn of something with those two characteristics though
