    Just got Virtual ANS, what a beast!!! Looks so fun, can't wait to play with it some more. I installed it in Windows first but all sound was sounding so glitched. I then went to Virtual ANS settings and changed the audio card from auto to my UMC404 (Asio) and now it sounds great. Had to get it in iOS to use it as an Auv3
    And I also got Relic Flow, seems pretty fun

    Virtual ANS let's you "play" images as spectral tones. It's pretty unique, Zolotov af, the only thing of its kind afaict existing as an iOS AUv3. Very 2000's experimental vibes. As always, best to play with the desktop version first if you can to determine usefulness.

    Virtual ANS is extraordinary if you’re into more experimental sound design. Allows you to draw sound events across a frequency/timeline using different brushes. Also allows import of audio and images onto the timeline which can then be played back or parts of them selected to create brushes from and paint with.

    Playback and export the timeline as a composition in its own right or have it triggered by MIDI notes and use it as a synth.

    Definitely try the desktop version if possible. Plus, look up the history of the actual device it’s based on - really interesting.

    This is fairly bonkers! Looks like a toy but it's essentially an dirty lofi fm synth with always on looper that records both notes played and any knob moments. You can choose whether notes, knobs or both are recorded. Rapidly gets quite nuts! Not sure if it's ever going to be actually useful but it's quite a lot of fun on first twiddle...

    It is a bit unique, for sure.

    I do, maybe friday to monday, maybe sooner, but im just guessing. The absolute latest would be mid to late December for the holidays and new year.

    Update - They have done a sale at the end of November to mid December every year. That doesn’t guarantee the same will apply this year, but I think and hope it happens again.

    Is Black Friday this coming Friday? I’m mightily confused by the timing of sales and those apps that have already come on sale and gone.

    Yes it is, but it's very late this year. (American) Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday in Nov, but it's not usually in the last week of the month. So some sellers may be jumping the gun; maybe they want to be a full month before Christmas. After all, black Friday is not an official event, just an ol' retailer's saying.

    We imported it down here in Australia and it always surprises me when it comes around.

    Every Year Black Friday deals seem to start a few days earlier in the States, at this point its like a 2 week event, lol

    Haha - anything for a sale! I won't be surprised to see a few more manufactured annual sales events in the coming years. I'm really just trying to find a world where Battalion will come back on sale :)
