Reporting bugs...
Hi there community,
what is the best way to report bugs in loopy pro? I've been noticing several issues mostly related to group action controls
First one: I set up a slider to control overdub feedback and set the target to be a play group, the slider does not sync to the feedback state of the group (it will immediately display a zero value) and will actually crash loopy pro when trying to use the slider
Second: I've been trying different workarounds to get loopy pro to work like the Ableton Looper / DL4 etc in terms of reverse / half-speed functionality. (Loopy always records - and then plays back - at the record value of a given clip...) I've been therefore experimenting with the "value nudge" method as explained here: https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/comment/1385245/#Comment_1385245
One of my ideas was to set up the reverse (nudge rate: x-1) button to target all playing clips. This should allow me to, for example, record a clip, reverse it, record the second clip at a normal rate and have them play in "opposite time directions". A new tap would make them swap directions again, etc. Unfortunately this only works the first time though. After that the button just ceases to respond.
I also had a previous issue where the state of clips would become out of sync when the were part of the same group. Ugrouping them would make everything work as expected:

Should all these things be reported individually somewhere or does it suffice to post here on the forum?
Best,
David

Thanks for the reports. Can you post an example of the second issue?
One bug per thread is probably preferred. If you don’t mind joining the Discord, the support category is great for reporting bugs, but here is fine, too.
Perhaps it would be better if I shared the project with you? The buttons don't give any visual feedback so posting an example might not help that much because you can't really see what's going on...
Sorry if my comment wasn’t clear. I’d like a copy of the project and a description of the steps needed to see the issue.
Copy that!
