It’s strange what you can hear in this thing! Sometimes it sounds like orchestra samples or am I hallucinating?😵💫
What a ridiculous bargain this is. Like all his apps really.
Always happy to get another one from him.
Will this go on sale for xmas?
Jk, bought.
It's designed to mess with your neural pathways and make you hear anything the dev wants.
Loving this so far, a no brainer purchase at price it is
LOL, definitely ended up relearning from old vids I’ve done too when I’m stuck
OMG - I think this is the best drone machine I’ve ever used!
Low Poly with slow attack and release into Velvet Machine to blur the sounds into one another into Black Hole reverb. Stack some octaves, fifths, whatever - instant spaced out drone zone. Super low on cpu too.
What a steal for $2.99!
All I can say is, if you make ambient music, this belongs in your toolbox...
I wish there was a gesture to solo a sound.
My biggest wish by a long shot would be mpe, but yes, ability to quickly solo and mute different sounds would be neat
really creative synth:) bigups Alex!
what I would love to see in its update is (what you ppl asked for)
MPE support and solo / mute "oscillators/lanes"
and my own request, inertia in mixer movement.
(mixer's components will fade in slower or faster)
thanks to Alex for this really innovative synth!
from the dev, regarding exported loops from Low Poly Synth:
“ Approximately 50% (from the end) of the sample is a loop. This information is saved in the WAV file. The problem may be that not all WAV players are able to read loop markers from the file.”
Suggestions for AUv3 sampler apps that will play these back respecting the loop points?
Might be possible….somehow….as the volumes are currently mappable.
I’m going to map each channel to my Push 3 encoders, for a bit of live mixing. It will then be possible to go back into the recording and adjust the automation manually, and completely silence any channels that way.
Certainly punches above its weight, this one.
No response to pitch bend at all. Dev says he will try to fix this in a future update, it's due to a technical issue he ran into
I mapped each generator to its own LFO in Drambo and the CPU meter is peaking (CV to midi).
Mapping internally (MIDI mapping) to Drambo LFO via midi CC generator or Rosetta module drastically reduces CPU (midi to midi).
There should be no need to use the CV to Midi in order to do the modulation in Drambo?!
It should be enough to map each of the targets (AUParameters) you wish to modulate and map the LFO to those knobs?!
(Works for every single AUv3 I've tried so far).
+1.
This is really great stuff, good for atmospheric backdrops and mysterious humming
That’s what I actually did, when I say CV to midi, I mean LFO signal to Au parameter, which for some reasons is using too much CPU ressources, hence LFO to Midi CC generator to midi mapping inside Low Poly Synth Midi mapping tab (which works as well as Rosetta midi LFO)
Did you also try using the Midi CC Generator module in Drambo and modulating it?
+1 esp when assembling a patch, with some sounds already locked in.
Yeah, it's a bit of a pain in the ass trying to dial things in without a solo. Cos u have to try to remember roughly at what level you had each sample whose volume you pull down
Yes! Exactly that ( I’m using the cc generator (multi knobs, 1 knob per sample voice, so 8 knobs, each one of them being lfo modulated with different speed/phase)
I remember you working up to this a few years ago @Samu it sounds like you finally got to the end game 😀
I can still make some rare exceptions but yes, the 'instabuy madness' is totally behind me for good
This is very cool triggered by a couple of BattleStation sequencers.
Much fun. My favourite from all his apps.
For Drambo users, I found that this mute and solo logic patch by @rs2000 works perfectly for the layers in LowPolySynth.

Is the Windows version standalone only?
