Update. Export only seems to get the kick. I only tried twice.
That’s a great way of putting it. I love it for whatever reason. It’s one of those apps that’s more than the sum of its parts.
One Last time for the end of the 4th Quarter in 2025. Thanks.
Happy 2026! Thanks to everyone who has supported the thread, those who donated, and those who helped share information. If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would really help me keep this thread going strong. PayPal is best, but Ko-fi also works. Thank You.
Sincerely,

I’m not so sure, I think I’d expect a VST or other more widely usable format at that price point. It’s definitely a great plugin, but only being fully compatible with a couple of environments on the Mac it doesn’t make much sense in that way… I think if it did, I’d have grabbed it at the sale price, probably not at its normal full price though…
I'm late to the party on this, but I've wondered the same thing only as applicable to primarily electronic music. I don't really want to load my own samples right now, and as amazing as this deal seems, I'm just not really sure I'll actually use it.
Thank you for the suggestions. I’ll check it out.
OneShot comes with so many preset kits across the spectrum of styles (acoustic, electronic, experimental, percussion, etc) and each drum is highly tweakable; and it’s a cinch to mix and match individual drums to create your own kits. I might never even get around to working with my own samples. I haven’t even looked into iap banks either. Possibly my favorite Black Friday purchase, and I paid $4 more than its current sale price.
I wish Klevgrand would put elpiano back on sale. I should’ve grabbed that when it was only $10 during BF.

ZenZettel is free usually $4.99, smart note taking app.
Any dirtyish room sound acoustic kits? I got the excellent Wild Kits expansion for Korg Module, but would have passed if One Shot has those sounds covered.
There both Electroic and Experimental preset groups in the OneShot base purchase
The Electric hits some nice loses, while Experimental gets crushed and grimey
He should definitely work on a vst version, not even sure whether that's on the road map, mind you. I hope at least that he regularly does sales on this, or just permanently keeps the price around 30, it's definitely more sensible than the original pricing.
Thanks, I went ahead and grabbed it.
Sometimes just picking something up at a low price is worth way more than the time I'll spend debating it and being distracted. Since this is the second time in two months I've given thought to it, I'm alleviating my brain of the burden, and gives me more reason to dig further into Octachron as well.
Guys, for drums check this out:
https://www.pocket-drums.com
It's not IOS, but the sounds are amazing, the app is constantly updating and you have a very fast way to create your custom kits.
For IOS: I have sampled all my Drum Apps: Addictive Drums, Pocket drums, Kontakt.... with Logic Autosampler into EXS and imported it into Audiolayer. Absolutely no fuss, great stability and timing, no dropouts....
Give it a try!

I’m on the same page with el piano, lol.
With oneshot, I’ve been eyeing it up awhile too. it was such a good price, and after a couple sessions I’m already glad I grabbed it. Really nice factory kits and sounds, with the ability to add my own over time. A bit on the large side but that’s to be expected with good velocity layered samples.
I really need to put together a few core sets to work from with the tools I have, and OneShot may prove helpful here. I don't really have super narrow genres I'm after, but I believe I'll be able to get some good jungle starting points from OneShot, among other things. I'm hopeful.

Hey @Poppadocrock , what’s the best way to find out if a desktop app has been on sale recently? I just looked up ID700 on the App Store hoping it was gonna be available on Mac - it is, but as a separate purchase. It’s in my top 3 favourite synths, so I may end up buying it at full price, but wanted to see how frequently it went on sale. Cheers man!
