    Congrats Paulie! 🥳

Since you got the last word you almost won the debate! 💪😉

But let’s be honest, a massive "Ewwww" on behalf of womenkind is a brutal Technical Knockout, so you only got the last word when lying (and lying) down, muttering in desperation and confusion: ”Don't let the door hit you on the way out.”

    Total beat down! ✌️😁

    • (Oops upside your head: "The bigger the headache, the bigger the pill!") 😅

Despite you seeing me as a superior wise elder and being 100% willing to follow my advice, you should actually reflect over why you even take orders in the first place from all the grifters in the MAGA hierarchy spreading disinformation. 😎

The brutal beat down probably made you forget that I’m not one of them! 🥲

Yet you are as usual willing, without any questions or hesitation, to think and feel whatever you’ve been told to think and feel by the higher-ups! 🤤 I'll get right on that, chief. 🤤

When my wife and I met for our first date, she liked my “six pack”. I was 6 foot two and well built .She liked that. Her two boys thought I was a cool guy with a red Corvette. I married her, and we are still together:after 25 years. I love her. Our two boys were both killed in 2004.

    I‘m sorry for your loss.
I‘m glad to read you love your wife.
I‘m glad she found something to love about you. Love looks different for everyone.
But: Loving a woman means respecting all of them.
We don’t have a choice, you see. We have to respect you, sadly.
We don’t earn the same you earn (gender gap is still a thing u know) for the same or even harder work. We don’t get the job because we could potentially become mothers. We carry the mental load, the care work, the chores, plans, our brains are rented 24/7 without payment- „where is the remote?, the dishwasher tabs?, the new pack of toilet paper?“. No one is paying us for that and it’s a never ending story. We deserve better than still reading in random music forums how guys would totally bang young women (tho they have a wife) if they were rich and could use that power imbalance to lure them in with promises of "I‘ll care for you".

Lemme know if that makes sense to you at any point and if so: Perfect. Kiss your wife, thank her that she sticks around with you and ask her how you can be a better husband. No flowers required.

Honestly I cannot understand at all how guys and gals over the pond haven’t come up with some political restructuring in the meantime, you were the progressive ones. The US voting system is something we Europeans need to google every 4 years because it’s so confusing. It is so vulnerable and unrepresentative, it feels more like a popularity vote than voting for what people actually need. Just two parties are not that democratic imo. We have around 800 in our country, most of them never got over the 5% hurdle to enter the government but at least there is not a complete us vs them situation because of that wider spectrum of parties.

I’ve seen you mention this several times scattered around the forum.

While I of course sympathize with such a tragic loss I don’t understand how after such an experience why care and compassion is not extended to all the countless parents all over the world who have experienced and are still experiencing the very same tragedy of losing their children but probably in even worse ways like in Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan (and all the other countless wars/conflicts).

Or the police in the US killing innocent minorities…
Or families being broken up because of ICE / deportations…

    • ”Thirty-two people died in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody in 2025”

Also vice versa, children at a young age losing one or both of their parents.

I agree with you that DJT is a bloviating blowhard. He is self-centered, narcissistic, and he scares people. That’s exactly what I want now. When I was growing up, there was a family of troublemakers in my neighborhood. They would pick on us and would threaten to beat me up and burn my house down. Finally, there was a young dude that stood up and beat the crap out of them. Sometimes, that’s what it takes.

So the ”troublemakers” that ”need to be taken care of” are immigrants?

    Key Findings & Context

    • Lower Crime Rates: Studies consistently show immigrants, even undocumented ones, have lower rates of violent crime, including homicide, compared to native-born Americans.
    • Decreasing Crime with Increased Immigration: Data from 1980-2022 shows the immigrant share of the U.S. population more than doubled while overall crime rates dropped significantly, suggesting no link between increased immigration and higher crime.
    • Specific Incidents Exist: Government reports, like those from DHS, highlight individual cases where immigrants have been involved in fatal crimes, such as drunk driving, emphasizing victim impact.
    • Data Challenges: Official data tracks convictions, but linking specific crimes to immigrant status nationally can be difficult, with Texas being a notable exception for detailed state-level data.

    In Summary

    • While tragic crimes by immigrants do occur, research suggests they are statistically less likely to be perpetrators of homicide than native-born Americans, with overall trends showing crime falling as immigration rises.

Fact Check: No evidence 4,000 people are killed yearly by undocumented immigrants By Reuters Fact Check

Or maybe, just maybe, DJT is not only as you youself wrote ”self-centered & narcissistic” but also a manipulative liar?

Thank you! I can't imagine life without her. We're a match made in heaven and I thank God every day for her. Sometimes, a little thing can mean a lot. Last night we were both bundled up trying to stay warm. It's -9 degrees here. I gave her a few of my cookies so she wouldn't have to get up. That made her smile. I just gave her a kiss and told her how much she means to me.

Actually, I think we are sort of in that process right now. It's not going well. I think the best thing is to sit down and talk. Find out what both sides need, and what they can do without. Nobody will get everything they want, but they will get what they need. Pray for a peaceful solution that we can all live together with.

The US is not even remotely a democracy. It was created by the rich and powerful with slaves in mind so there is absolutely no representation for the people. Our electoral college is the farthest you can get from a democracy. We hold elections on Tuesdays when everyone is working instead having election day be a national holiday. Even Mexico holds their elections on Sundays and nobody is allowed to work.

As Trump has shown, the entire government is a gentleman's agreement and the constitution is a piece of paper that is only good for wiping your ass with. If our system was more like Britain, who is also fucked by the way, then Trump wouldn't have been allowed to just do whatever the hell he wants.

That is correct. We are not a democracy. We are a democratic republic. There is a big difference. I think the fact that millions are fleeing their own countries, and flocking to America, indicates that it is a pretty good concept. It was written primarily by James Madison, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton. But I guess you know better than all of them.

When asked what type of government they decided upon, Franklin replied... A Republic, if you can keep it.
We are testing that theory right now.

Also, is it necessary to use the language that you use? Does it give you more credibility?
I think it just makes you sound angry and unreasonable.

  • That's a false dichotomy because republics and democracy aren't mutually exclusive. The United States is a republic but the power is vested in "we the people" (at least on paper). A "democratic republic" is a type of democracy (specifically, representative democracy), just like a Ford automobile is a type of car.

That still doesn't answer the question... why are people leaving their own countries? They often walk for great distances and face countless dangers along the way, often with children and just the clothes on their back.

  • May I turn the question around on you? Why did your own ancestors leave their countries?

  • @maxxpower18 over here people are already bickering if they have to wait 10 minutes in line before they can vote and go back to their Sunday breakfast table 😂 But then again…Sundays are always free…like every Sunday. If you have to work, your employer has to pay extra. No stores open, just restaurants etc. I don’t get where all the money ends which your country is generating tbh. Soo much agriculture! So much space! It’s crazy to me. Our whole country is as big as Montana.

  • @AlexY said:

Rather than answer, you just change the subject. It's an old trick. However, I will play along.

They left for a better life in America with it's democratic republic style of government.
If they worked hard and obeyed the law, they could have a much better life here.
My mother's parents came from Ireland. My father's parents came from Iceland.
They all worked very hard and never expected a handout.
They did pretty well for themselves.

  • I asked you the same question you were asking. It's the same topic.

Most immigrants are just the way you described your own immigrant ancestors.

  • @AlexY said:

    And I answered you.
So we are both in agreement that America is pretty great place to live.

  • relatively speaking and it depends. it has its flaws and it isn't beyond criticism.

right now it's not such a great place, and it isn't trending that way either, in my opinion.

The government is just printing more money whenever they need it. We have a 38 trillion dollar debt. It's beyond comprehension. "The rich" are hoarding as much as they can. When they need more, they lobby Congress to pass laws that favor themselves. They pay huge amounts for those favors. It doesn't matter which side controls the government. Obama or Trump, it doesn't matter.

That leads to the Epstein question. They are not protecting presidents. That might explain why there have been no answers.

If we ever expect any answers, we will have to outbid the billionaires. Money talks.

Living in a police state is not living in a great country. The US sucks and it will only get worse when the Palantir bastards complete their framework. Their vigilance will make even the CCP wish they had something similar.

The US is just the big bully in the world that got mega rich by stealing the lunch money from poor countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. People move here from countries in those areas because those countries have been sucked dry by the greedy countries like the US and many European countries.

But in my opinion, there's no country in this world that I would consider good, nor could I ever find myself "loving a country". It's silly to me. I love my wife and my son, but a country? Nah. Every country is ultimately owned by the rich and powerful because human nature is to be greedy. As The Matrix put it, we are parasites.
