It’s a great app and at this price it’s an absolute steal. However, I have become somewhat disillusioned and disappointed with the dev because of their total silence on the subject of what happened to the ‘midi in’ update that was more or less promised on YouTube over a year ago

Yeah me too but not total silence. He said he was busy doing paid work. I think the biggest problem with the midi in was that he was re recording all the samples. If he hadn’t of done that he could have released the midi in as shown on his demo videos.

Do these have any use if you don’t have the Traktor controller?
I was curious myself. They appear to be Traktor-type controller apps that you then would use to control your pc/mac dj software, right?
They’re just MIDI controller apps. They’re meant to be used instead of a hardware controller.
I’d say they’re fairly pointless if you’re using DJ software that also runs on iPad. But if you’re running the DJ software from a Mac or PC, they could be a tactile controller alternative to getting a hardware DJ controller.
