I really hate to say it, but if no headway can be made here or on their forums to change their minds about this design decision ... maybe dinging App Store reviews by a star and commenting on it will get someone's attention.

Good point. I wouldn’t ding a point for lacking guitar effects, but to implement them like this and refusing to address it does hold it back in the context of the tool.

Yeh, it's harsh to knock off a star for a free added feature, and I wouldn't do it myself. But if anyone is really bugged and the answer is "We just don't want to change it," as it is in this case, maybe that's fair game for some.

When I click solo on a track it does not mute all other tracks. I seem to remember it did that that before. Anyone ?

Still do for me. (latest iOS, iPad Pro M1)

I'm in but I'd like to hear from Lars one more time, so I hold of a bit and see.

Edit: No interest from Steinberg to talk further it seems, so I did went ahead and changed my 5 stars to 1 with an explanatory review. I have no big hope it'll change a damn thing.

  • @LFS really nothing can be done here? You cannot get your developer/s to make any changes regarding this, that the community is overwhelmingly in support of?

Does Yamaha or Steinberg need a tip jar? It doesn't seem like it.
"Our passion for music inspires~" is your tagline, you're inspiring frustration!

  • From my review:

We will do our best to improve Cubasis with every update, and hope to address your issue at some point in the future.

    All the best,
