Thanks for listening @GeoTony. By the way, It’s called Mikes Boat because it goes into the old hymn melody “Michael row your boat ashore” at the end.

Going through some cassettes I found another old korg groove recording I made decades ago on my Korg 01W and its internal sequencer. I was able to beef this up track using audio tools, and i also used a vocal remover tool to get rid of some stupid small vocal clips i had added for some reason for effects. Turned out not too bad.

This is kind of a fusion of styles, was trying to imitate a song i had heard on the radio, i think.

Used some compressor, eq, reverb, and other basic plugins in AUM on the recording.

Very pleasant couple of minutes… sounded pretty good given its age / processing etc.

Hey thanks for listening, @GeoTony! I may rewrite/record this one. Trying to make enough island songs for an album.

@Dav All of your tracks here are super lovely! I admit I skimmed through a couple, but my fave which I listened to all the way through has to be “There Is a Light”. I absolutely love Smooth Jazz. ❤️

@Paulieworld Listening to yours right now, and it reminds me a bit of Yanni in so many ways. Well, 1980s Yanni, but in the best way. :)

Edit - Damn it, I went to give it a like, but apparently I already did. 😂
