    The issue is.

    The manual says they can be re-orderd and perhaps you would want to re-order, if sends goe through sends.

    Drambo and Cubasis are set up differently in this regard.

    Cubasis sends cannot be sent to another aux channel. They do not and cannot go through another send. The output of each send automatically goes to the master stereo channel. Because they are static, baked in channels there is no way to reorder them and in fact it makes no sense to try and reorder them. Think of them as hard wired.

    Drambo has more flexibility in how you route the audio from channel to channel and you can create more aux(fx) channels as needed. It’s a different environment.

    Other DAWs like AEMS, BM3 and Logic Audio (to name but 3) also have the ability to add more aux channels and you can send aux channels to other channels, but they also provide you with the ability to chain a number of fx together in one channel as does Drambo. Cubasis was not designed like this.

    Iv only used Drambo and AUM, so just thought the routing would be a send through a send ( especially as its documented ) you can re-order sends. Obviously makes you think theres an audio reason ( to re-order )

    Will have to see if it might be an issue.

    I use a resonater send, with a reverb in same lane ( so resonater gets reverb )

    Now im also seeing potential in delay and banded distortion apps.

    Would some signal go through reverb ( if made a send ) but then some signal going through distortion not be going through the reverb ?

    The order dosent matter.

    The sends cant route, so you can only really use for a reverb.

    Perhaps the worst Debbie downer on ipad yet.

    Does it mean.

    If I want to use a send for another app like a resonator or distortion, I have to use a seperate reverb for every track that I want the send to pass reverb through ?

    Or just forget send type fx ?

    one way to get around it is if you have the part already recorded you could duplicate it and create the fx chain on the inserts of the duplicate part. If it’s a MIDI / instrument channel you could duplicate this and do the same thing. If you want to effect a number of channels at once you could create a mixdown of the desired channels and import this onto an audio channel and create your desired chain of effects on this channel.

    Just some ideas….

    Im just routing Drambo from another ipad because I can use micii learn on synths.

    Didnt expect 8 sends not passing audio through each send.

    If you need a timeline based DAW have a look at Audio Evolution Mobile Studio. Free to download and relatively inexpensive ($10 AUD) to get the expanded aux options.

    I tried AEM today.

    Need Abelton link for my other pattern ipads to work with a timeline DAW.

    Im able to keep a send function in cubasis for a particular send, which is a Drambo resonator and a Drambo reverb in the same send track, thats on my Drambo drum ipad.

    If I stem these tracks in Cubasis and redo the send for recording. I can just use a Drambo mfx, with the resonator and a reverb next to resonator.

    This will work as a cubasis resonator send ( with reverb )

    Other sends wont work but not bothered about delay sends or a banded distortion send.

    Cubasis sends are just for reverbs ( or perhaps a few to choose from ) although the resonator send will work.

    I’ve been enjoying using Drambo as an effect recently as well. This could give you a bit more of an fx chain in your effect send.
    I used IK Multimedia’s Mixbox for this kind of stuff as well. Haven’t done so as much of late. But, I think it’s just experimenting with stuff until you work something out that’s right for you.

    Baby audio transit is a good one too.
