(Pop Instrumental in Auxy)
So I started learning to write songs as opposed to strictly instrumental music, all of which is documented here...
https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/68592/good-songwriting-resources-tips-books-in-2026#latest
...and I came up with my first song idea. However, as I continued to write the song, the more cringe it became. 🫣 At least here's the instrumental I was writing the song to. I created this in Auxy Studio and mastered it in Cubasis 3.

This track doesn't need any lyrics, Jim. The melody and the emotion tells the story. It's beautiful!
Aww, bless you mate.
That's so kind of you to say. I think I will go back to instrumental music for now to be honest, but in Auxy Studio where I can mark down ideas quickly and efficiently.
@lenberg really did make a masterpiece of an app. I know subscription pricing turns off a lot of people, myself included for the most part, but I really do get a lot of mileage out of Auxy Studio on iPad and especially on iPhone where the UI is easy to use on a smaller screen.

(Deadmau5-styled Electro House in Auxy Studio on iPhone)
Yes, this track was entirely produced from start to finish on my iPhone. Auxy for the creation and mixing down of it, and Cubasis 3 with "BarkFilter into Cubasis' Brickwall into Youlean's Loudness Meter" for the mastering. All this talk of iPhone music production from the likes of FizzyLizzy27 and others got me nostalgic for when I was an iPhone-only music producer, so I wanted to see what I could get out of my 16 Pro Max.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this one. ❤️
Already over 100 listens on Soundcloud for "Legendary". 😌 That's awesome.
Appropriately titled. Very cinematic. I can hear this as the opening theme of an adventure film. Great arrangement skills. Everything flows seamlessly into everything else. I like that simple 5 note melody and its variations. Descending then ascending. Strong, catchy hook that I can still hear.
Thanks so much, mate.
Oftentimes the simplest melodies are the catchiest ones that stick with you. It's how you "dress up the notes" with the arrangement that makes the difference. Look at what John Williams did with just a f--king two-note motif for "Jaws" and tell me it isn't one of the most iconic cinematic scores put to paper. 😂
Yep, Auxy Studio makes arrangement super easy by "getting out of the way". It's one of the easiest apps to use on iPhone since its UI is legible and thumb-friendly. The sounds Auxy has are top quality, and arranging in it is a complete breeze. I'm at home and stuck creatively? Pull out Auxy. Stuck on transportation for a couple hours? Pull out Auxy. See a hot brunette at the coffee shop? No you didn't, because you already pulled out Auxy and are engrossed in the wonders of music creation. 😆
Only downside to Auxy is the unintuitive file management system. I wish @lenberg would open Auxy Studio up to the Files app so I can import and manage my myriad of drum sample packs easily. Auxy already has a lot of great drum samples in it, but I need my Sounds of KSHMR packs and the Deadmau5 XFer pack imported into Auxy. 😂
Sounds great man! Love it.
Thanks mate.
More music to come soon. It's been a slow month for me RE music creation, lol.
Legendary is a damn good track Jim, frenq
Cheers mate!
Thank you so much. I had fun creating it.
Today, I am building two Lofi Hip-Hop instrumentals for a client!
To be shared once they're finished and approved.

(Lofi Hip-Hop)
Client work 1 of 2 complete. She said this sounds "magical", and I'm so glad for such lovely feedback.
When I work for clients, I make sure to go above and beyond for them. I hope you all enjoy this piece too.

(Lofi Hip-Hop)
Client work 2 of 2 complete! This one is a bit simpler than the one above it, but it has such a cozy vibe to it I think. Now to figure out what to make next, lol.
Ah, also, who else uses and likes Auxy Studio here? I don't see it talked about a lot (outside of myself), so I'm curious.
Some great work here Jim, particularly enjoyed the 1st and 3rd tracks 🙏
I'm glad you enjoyed my music thus far, mate.
I'm not at all surprised you liked the third track "In Love" as, despite it being Lofi Hip-Hop, it borders right on being outright Ambient/Cinematic.
However, I am surprised you also liked track 1 "Hurt Me No More". That's awesome though.
Would you believe that "Hurt Me No More" was to be a song against someone (not from here, but rather a relative)? I referenced one of this person's favorite songs from their teens/early 20s in the instrumental. The string motif is from the intro of said song referenced, the song is in the same key as the referenced song, and I used the same chord progression in the chorus from the referenced song's chorus. The song in question...

So I decided to produce a new EP of various Dance Music genres entirely in Auxy Studio (mastered in Cubasis 3). Over here...

...we have Progressive House done in Auxy Studio. Think along the lines of Swedish House Mafia. Other current track ideas...
...include Liquid DnB (when's the last time I produced DnB ffs? 😂 it's been too long), "Uplifting" Trance (basically fast supersaw shit that I can produce like the back of my hand), and Melodic Techno (something a bit new to me that I can't wait to try and produce).
I plan to release this EP on Soundcloud by Friday. Please enjoy.
The EP is complete but unmastered. I'll master and release it tomorrow since I have a gig this evening. The track order will be...
I'm excited.
Edit - I decided I'll create one more track. Something Ambient. It'll be called "Tranquility".
Edit 2 - Link to the thread about this EP. https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/68785/electronic-horizons-ep-various-electronic-genres/p1?new=1

Done in Auxy Studio and mastered with Cubasis 3 using SuperVHS in the mastering chain. Please, enjoy.

Another EP complete. Yes, I actually finished the EP in the span of a day, without the use of AI. 😂 I made it all in Auxy Studio and mastered it in Cubasis with SuperVHS, BarkFilter Tripleband, Cubasis' Brickwall, and Youlean's Loudness Meter. Oh yes, and I did it with my iPhone. I hope you check it out.
I added the word "Journal" in the title, lol. I don't just share music in these threads but also share insights and such.
No new music today suffice it to say. Instead, I learned to play "Ebony and Ivory" on piano for Juneteenth and premiered it at my gig this evening. The crowd loved it. I love the song too since it promotes peace and love. Plus, my boss is a huge Stevie Wonder fan like me. ☺️

(Tech House meets Acid House in Auxy Studio)
Inspired by @Luc_A 's recent release here...
https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/68825/luc-a-that-beat-tech-house-in-korg-gadget-3#latest
...I started producing Tech House in Auxy, and then I decided to give it an Acid edge. These are the results, and I hope you enjoy them!
OMG!!! Master piece! I can’t wait to listen to it in my car, where I have a decent sound system. The 303 part is gorgeous. You are a really pro producer, hat off. Thanks for sharing this, mate
Thank you so much mate!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it does pass the "car test". 🙏

(Dance/EDM in Auxy)
I originally created this track around the year 2002/2003 in MTV Music Generator 2000 which had cringy vocal adlibs. This time, I recreated it bereft of cringy vocal adlibs with "modern production values" (whatever the hell that means 😆 ). And yes, I used Auxy Studio for this piece. Please, enjoy.
While searching Youtube for new lyric writing vids, I came across one by "Songs by Spencer", whose videos have helped me in the past. It was titled "Suno helped me write a better song". I thought it was a ragebait video where Spencer would talk deeply about the pitfalls of AI. No, it was basically a five minute long advertisement for Suno. I immediately unsubscribed. 🙄
The Experience 2026 edition still stands strong in 2026. Nice one, frenq
Thank you so much, mate.
I remade two more old songs - "Logical" which I last remade in 2023, and I remixed this string quartet I wrote back in 2005 called "Rukun's Violin". Can't wait to share the final results in an EP soon.

(Orchestral Trance in Auxy Studio)
Now for a remake of a track I originally made in 2002/03! The original title was a nonsense name called "Sansarilla", but since the original concept was that of a piece of music combining Trance with the sound of an old Wild West film score, it makes sense to rename it to "The Wild West". This will be the closing track of my upcoming EP and serves as the second single for it. Please enjoy.
