    So sorry to hear this. Ouch. SD card on my Polyend Play decided to self destruct a few months ago, I only lost two old tracks and I’m still not over it!

    Sorry to hear this.

    One of the reasons I scrimp on storage specs (as well as being a tight-fisted old goat), is that it forces me to organise my content better, and regularly backup up onto external drives (these are backed up too).

    During my old Windows PC days when storage was cheap, I’d max out the drive and it’d just fill up with crap and forget about it. Then when the inevitable black screen of death occurred, I’d lose the lot.

    So Apple’s eye-watering prices have done me a favour in a way, though as apps get more bloated I may have to splash out a bit, next time.

    I've thought the same tbh. Having 2tb of space just allowed me to be really sloppy about never deleting anything. And then all that junk means you have to upgrade your icloud storage, so it's costing you more monthly. And then, to add insult to injury you also end up with a really fkn slow restore if you do ever need to restore from iCloud. Apple are onto quite a scam there, overall, with their overpriced storage paired with icloud fees...
