In that case, I recommend Toonsquid. Amazing, very intuitive app for animation/video. One time purchase at 10 quid, no hidden extras, very responsive developer, frequently updated. If you wanna make some cool eye-candy, it’s a no-brainer.
If I have to pick only one app I'd struggle to choose between Tera Pro and Geoshred but ultimately it would have to be Geoshred. A Linnstrument on your iPad, and in some respects it's actually better.
Korg Gadget, it has all i need to produce house/techno music.

Yes you can. Some chord shapes are easier than others but that's true on most instruments. The great thing is that, unlike a piano, the chord shapes (and scales) are the same in every key.

One is impossible but..; if i had all the fabfilter apps including twin 3 and timeless (which i do ) i dont think id need anything else …. Except a sequencer, i use helium daily…. And id like a another functional synth…. Might synth would do or one of the jupiter copies but im not real fussy an oscillator is an oscillator and with saturn 3 one can achieve warmth .., But with hundreds of apps (too embarrassed to say how many) choosing one is too difficult…. Btw id be nothing without AUM
Nanostudio 2 will ALWAYS stay in my heart as best iOS app ever made.It is impossible for me to use any other sequencer/daw on iOS, NS workflow is just too much integrated into my brain..

Toss up between SunVox and Nanoloop. Both are fully featured self contained production apps, w/synths, sampler where full songs can be built. Both are masterpieces of their types, SunVox is a tracker and Nanoloop is I think a tracker under the hood. Note effects, p-locks and much much more. SunVox is vast and has a learning curve for sure, and Nanoloop is elegant and accessible. It’s only near rival is Elastic Drums which is classic in its own right, But Nanoloop belongs in the Museum of Modern Art
I remember buying Nanoloop when it first came out. I remember at the time it was mind blowing (15+ years ago?). I had no idea there was a v2 though. Looks like v3 on the App Store. Good call on Nanoloop. Downloading now. And still a free update after all these years.

I think BYOD would be a good choice, because it is modular, make your own. That way it can be what you want it to be for the voice you are working on. That's the non simple but recommended out of the way. Now, simple.
Special mention for FAC Smash but it is not specifically aimed at Vocals. You can reduce the dynamic modules to effectively nothing. Sounds great.
I like Pulse Ripper but it also adds a bit of movement to the signal so maybe no good. Fuzz Droid is simple but not so wide in the range of sounds.
Final recommendation though. Audio Damage Kombinat 4. It can be complex. But it can also be as simple as preset surfing and working with only the algorithms, drive and mix knobs. Plus you can expand your pallet as you learn or decide to dig deeper. US$7.99
TapeScam is awesome, easy to use and the UI makes it pretty easy to see what you are doing. Sticking with just the Drive and Color controls will get you a long way. 3 Age and 3 Tape options, coupled with Drive and Color will massively expand you options. Could be the one? Only US$3.99

Have tried: Valves by AudioThing - I like this one and it can be pretty subtle which is good for vocals (or not).
Have tried: Time Machine by 4Pockets. I'm not sing it but many like it. 4P say "This classic plugin acts as an old-school bit-crusher, sample-rate reducer, and transistor-style drive to make your tracks sound rough and crunchy."
+1 on TapeScam if you're looking to add a simple, natural-sounding warmth and beef to your vocals. Sounds great, simple to use, only $4, and if it isn't what you're looking for in this case I'm sure you'll find plenty of uses for it.

My recommendations - will try to not tackle the obvious ones that (almost) everyone loves like Drambo or NS2 lol
All-in-ones/Grooveboxes:
iDS-10: Synth drums, synths and vocoder. It's your pocket Korg MS-10 and you can do a lot with it, and it sounds crisp.
Egoist: Drum, bassline, slicer and effects in a rather nifty sequencer. Good to kickoff a track or even try to do it al inside it.
GR-16: It's what korg should've done with the Electribe 2. Inspired by the hardware, but way better. Lots of osc options, powerful sequencer. It's a beast.
Looptical: old, but gold. The sounds are simple, but the workflow is great to create multiple loops and structure them into a song
Triq Traq: Figure is awesome and got all the attention back then, but this was really powerful and loads of fun still. Good to get a jam going with 4 channels/tracks, each with 8 sample options, with simple automation, individual speed per track and export as Ableton Live Set. Another one good to jam and start a fuller track
