@azsmith How do you bring up multiple play heads in this app?
Hi @Jumpercollins - The multi-head controls can be accessed by tapping the "heads" button in the main grain panel. You can activate one two or three playheads, with a subset of the grain controls available for heads 2 and 3 in the panel.
The beta is no longer active, but will definitely be back for v2.
Still cant record in testflight…
@azsmith Ok cheers found it must be getting old as that is tucked away !
Bought it
Still the same problems
Only loop recording and exporting works.
If I choose one shot or live recording
as soon as I hit the record button
the wav disappears and nothing is recorded.
So sorry about that - just sent a DM to troubleshoot. That definitely shouldn’t be happening.
I tried live and loop just now, both seem to work for me fine. So “wet” is recording the effects too… cool!
I’m on latest iOS
So weird. I’m also on the latest os and it records nothing on an iphone 13.
The developer is very responsive and working on it.
What exactly isn’t working? I’ll try exactly to see if I can replicate. My save audio wasn’t working in the previous build, but the update fixed it for me, and appears to have added to ability to save with the wet/effects too if desired. Cool
I’m using the public version and not the TestFlight version.
Really dig how this one is evolving
I am having contact either the very kind developer so I an sure this will be resolved.
The developer has really been very helpful.
Thought I should mention that
since the developer is always half the app I think.
Very well said 👍
Thank you to @meek3 for a good conversation about the recording experience - so helpful!
Currently there is no explicit "record performance to disk" feature separate from the core record-to-buffer modes, which is particularly important to standalone mode. Development of something to fill this gap is underway and will hopefully be out in the next week. I also realized that the documentation wasn't super clear and hard to find. See below for a more comprehensive guide to recording for the current version of the app, both on the website and as a downloadable pdf.
Thanks again for all the feedback!
