It's vacation times here in Sweden so development might have slowed down a bit, that's what I think
@oceansinspace Since the 'SID' only has one filter it takes a little careful planning to make it work.
Select a 'filter control voice 1-3' in the preferences or using the fx-pattern where it can be chosen per row.
The instrument on the chosen voice controls the filter(cutoff, sweep etc.) even if the other 'instruments' on other 'voices' have filter settings.
The other channels can still 'use' the filter (if it's enabled on the instrument) but all the filter parameters will it will be controlled by the instrument on the voice you have selected.
Hope the explanation makes at least a little sense
Yeah, thanks buddy! the polyphony is still trippy? Can it be simplified that at any given time there is a 3 note polyphony, and the way we "get around this" is to like a a bass and snare hit but a chord in between? Thanks
The SID has 3 voices at any given time.
I try not to think 'polyphony' but 3 mono voices/tracks where each track can use the same or different sound.
Part of the charm of creating SID-Tunes is to cram as much as possible into the 3 voices, trying compose using a know limitation is an art itself

The app has just been updated with the choice between linear and circular knob control. So thanks devs for listening to us
Don't know what happened but I did some testing on the beta and the issues regarding export I mentioned are still not solved
There is still empty space in the beginning of the export and if the 'patten loop' is turned on while exporting the resulting file will be ~4.5mb or ~10 minute loop of the first row (patterns on screen)
But at least we've now got a 'open in...' to transfer sounds out from the app, it's still .aac/.m4a not wav/aiff and still needs to be 'trimmed' to loop nicely...
It's summertime here in Sweden so I'm not going to bug the devs with these issues until later
