    I can’t really remember how Hilda works, but in this you control the drone volume with the Activation knob. That and pretty much everything else is explained in my YT walkthrough, if you haven’t seen it, or in the detailed (too detailed maybe) manual. You can also use this as an FX. You can also trigger notes with midi.

    Thanks Gav, i‘ve actually both read the excellent manual and watched your wonderful vid….think i need to roll my sleeves up and try some knob combos to get what i need :)

    I couldn’t figure it out either cause my SE is too small to see what I’m doing which also means i can’t see what Gav is doing, lol.

    I just slapped an Amp envelope after it in Drambo and while exploring came up with this. Alchemdie sounds so filthy in a good way.

    yeah totally nuts! this is next level synth for me. More of this kind of stuff, a hoverskate and were closer to jetsons land

    I have Alchemdie and like it but (maybe) got a problem with it. Since i installed and used the app, two times I experienced a hard and strange buzzing sound from my iPad while the app seems fully closed. It happened twice after closing the app and hours after using it. I did not experience this before the install and only rebooting the iPad will make it stop. Last week i didn’t use the Alchemdie, also didn’t experience this ‘buzzing’ . Are there more people who experienced this behaviour with Alchemdie or another app? The reason I’m pointing to Alchemdie is because the behaviour started after the install, perhaps it has nothing to do with Alchemdie.

    Definitely didn't run into any issues like this and haven't heard any other complaints tbh

    If an app was used as IAA (maybe connected via virtual MIDI ports), it can sometimes remain loaded but not visible in the App Switcher. Sometimes you can just open the offending app and force-quit it to shut it down.

    I’ve had it a couple of times recently - after a session all audio apps closed, but a constant drone - only turning off iPad completely stops - have noticed that it’s when I’ve been using this or Wail, but that could be coincidental.

    I have no insight into that but they're already crazy cheap so I don't personally see that happening!

    is it currently unusually hot where you are? It is here, where I am. I am not getting the intermittent audio buzzing you are describing, but my iPad will intermittently refuse to charge, complaining it is too hot. Also, my audio interface already gets fairly warm to the touch, so I am keeping an eye on that on these hot days. No issues so far. And yeah, I am working in a room without air conditioning, just open windows. It gets up to 88 degrees F in this room.

    I have had that audio buzz you are describing, but it is always when using an app in IAA mode and it decides to crap out after a while. Not heat related in these cases, just IAA problems.

    This synth looks and sounds pretty awesome (my on-topic comment)
