Personally I appreciate you being up front about it. It’s one of the reasons I love Toneboosters; they only admit to not doing sales as their prices are low enough already , and you know it’s gonna be the same price. We all know a few devs who run sales all the time …shortly after increasing the price a few days prior, or who keep their apps on sale 9/12 months of the year because they’re releasing apps 9/12 months of the year lol
Yeah there’s developers who constantly have something on sale. I never buy anything, maybe next week the one I want will be on sale…next week I want something else.
No sequencer but I have apps for that. Nice SH-101/MC-202 feel. 😎✌🏼
I mean it's helpful, just a weird read on the discount thread from a dev. Posting, "i'll never put it on sale" in the discount thread.
I've been a member a long time w/multiple daily visits to the thread and haven't ever seen a response like that before.
I used to want a SH101 emu awhile back.
Saw that….my initial thought was it looked like the CS 01 but now I’m reading it was based on something different ? Got a gift card for my birthday so I might pick it up anyway !

I started with synths pre-MIDI. My first was a PAIA Gnome I built from a kit. Then I got a Roland SH-1 which kept me busy for quite a while. 50 is young from my vantage point! Happy Birthday to anyone having a birthday! 😎✌🏼

Thanks. I found it there. It's not really your fault. I've complained many times here that Apple should have made in-app purchases a standardized module. Finding in-app purchases is my least favorite hidden object game.
Prisim's IAP was the worst I've encountered so far. I even had to upgrade my iOS to get it to work AFTER I found it... boo
I’m surprised Apple doesn’t make this a requirement as well. I released an ear training game as well (chorDLE, it’s free!) and the amount of hoops they made me jump through for login requirements and branding was oppressive. Probably got rejected three or four times before I had it just the way they wanted. IAP requirements are basically just that they not be buried, appear in settings, and that they are not deceptive.

I’ve already purchased it and I must say it is so incredibly deep and there’s obviously a lot of thought and experience gone into its development. In the current marketplace, with wave after wave of vibe coded over priced offal this is a breath of fresh air. Just wish I knew how to get the best out of it 😂
Wasn't the original price $6.99? The app store shows the original at $6.99 and then another beat kitchen entry as FREE with a $6.99 unlock.
So, it feels like to me the "sale" is simply by virtue of the app being relaunched at a higher price.

Not here (to my knowledge). I'd be happy to follow one. I'm a bit of a 'tourist' here and I'm sensitive that it may come across self promotional (which is why I answered this post when I saw it). If people who are here longer than me care to start one and ping me, I'm happy to maintain a presence. Otherwise you'd need to join the BKS discord channel (which is quiet for this sort of thing anyhow). HS does have a lot lot of layers. I'm delighted that folks are digging deep and excited to answer questions about it. Many of those questions have already helped drive its development.
Super-happy to answer any questions. I suspect (but don't know for sure) that this is a sale thread and probably not the best place. (I'm new here). The school maintains a Discord server, and there is a dedicated channel there. But it's quiet and Discord is a format that's not for everyone. In the meantime I've now set my notifications to alert me to anything that comes up here. If there's a thread I don't know about, feel free to ping me.
