    I have no idea what gospel drums are but I'm sure it's like any genre. Rock drums, metal, indie whatever. But can someone say what gospel drums would be similar to? What sort of sound are they going for. To me they sound like a pretty dry kit, pretty tame. A bit suited to mellow music or indie styles. Would that be fair?

    Seems there is no mention of the kits used. Also, is it just me or are the low toms distorting?

    From the preset styles + grooves listed here, I think it gives you a reasonable idea of what this is suited for style-wise.. Gospel, R&B, Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Funk, Reggae, Afrobeats.. I’d say anything you could use a tight kit on.. I counted 17 ready-made kit templates that match up with these styles too..

    Yeah that's a shame. Based on what I heard and your screenshot it's not for me. A shame really as the format is pretty great. And can't imagine they'll bring out any Hardcore, Thrash, NuMetal packs.

    @eylvy do you find the output level pretty low. With my iPad A16 I turn it up to max and can’t really hear it. It’s very low when I open it in AUM. I have to export and then normalize in AudioShare to get a useful level. 😎✌🏼

    Output level is definitely low. I put it on max inside the app and used the Drift plugin for an extra boost. The dev submitted an update which mainly focuses on that (doubling the gain) and the ability to disable the sea-sick "woo-woo" the synths are doing.

    I bought it. It’s a nice app. Their is 2 drum kit included.

    The midi browser is kinda weird. You select a preset and in another dropdown you have the midi pertaining to that style. It is just a list. So if you wanted to import your midi you would have an endless list. Unless you create a multitude a preset for each folder and only import a small quantity per folder.

    I already asked for other style of music drum set. Maybe if he gets lots of requests he will add some.

    It does not solve my problem of browsing a large set of midi files I bought and Helium drag and drop midi file is broken in Cubasis. I am not sure if it works in other DAW. Could someone try for me ?
