    A question about these instruments: the AppStore description of for example Etude says “meticulously sampled”. At 22.1 mb?

    I would think in that size “meticulously physically modeled”

    Has anything particularly new or niche come out in the past month or so? As in, not another sampler or reverb? Haven’t followed as much on here lately since working on my own apps and need a palette cleanser for something unique.

    And little drum machine is free- you can use it to send drum midi to your favorite drum apps, loaded with classic presets and a killer mutate/randomizer.

    Anima synth. It’s a physical modeling synth similar to RingsFx but with its own character. Definitely a “palette cleanser”, and the ui is awesome (hope the dev does future releases with the same style). Comes with some fantastic RedSkyLullaby presets. Believe it’s still on sale til end of August.

    I got all the Quartet apps early on, at first the ability to export stems to a DAW was an IAP but later on they started including this feature at initial purchase without having to do the IAP thing.

    So maybe the IAP on the App Store are a thing of the past. I was looking to drop the solo guitar out but can't find a mixer. Thought maybe it was an IAP.

    The app store is is annoying that way. It lists any current or past IAPs there, confusing...

    These apps are also a bit confusing too btw. There's not a mixer like you're looking for. You have to go to Settings and choose the mix you want in "Alternative Mixes". The only way you can get a single instrument is by exporting the song as separate parts. Which are actually exported as a GarageBand file. I told them this current method is really a pain more than a year ago, but here we are, still the same terrible system.

    I think that has changed

    Maybe it has but thanks for that. It's in settings (top right of song chord page), and I had to choose custom and download the stems, which provides the mixer. B)
