    I don't understand the game (not buying the game), but it would be cruelly awesome if the last bingo piece opened up ACP or similar...

    @JohnnyGoodyear The 'Mystery Bingo' is just one way to get to know the app and look around to find stuff. I suspect it will just unlock a few extra demo-songs and maybe a few new patches (that's what i could find when i dug in the app-bundle, the patches and songs are not present in the app's open dialogues yet). The is no ACP SDK inside the bundle so it's highly unlikely that it will just get 'unlocked' :)

    The 2 was unlocked after looping a pattern for 2 minutes without tweaking it.

    I'm suspect the last-right in the bottom row will get unlocked once opening a song made by someone else on another device as it doesn't unlock when opening/importing a song made on the same device after e-mailng it to myself.

    It's a funny way to get to know the app :)

    @Monzo, you need a Midi Designer Pro to fooling around your new WOW filter, that is best way and quicker way to design a filter for any synthesizer sound, If you try Lemur, you are going to nowhere for your time. So, buy Midi Designer Pro at this satge is best for you.

    I found it too fiddly for my hand to touch iDS-10 on my iPhone 5s. Some buttons on the sides are hard to press quicker. I said already, It is best app for mini iPad, Air2 sceen is brighter for iDS-10 resolution. If you are not making any music production with other apps, I am highly urge you to buy it. No other apps can be this kind of fuffing and easy toy for making music. Very sophiscated toy!

    Forgive if this is obvious / known / mentioned:  a hold-press on drum parameters opens the respective step-automation windows.

    For now this app is a soundcard-record workaround.  Loving the type-in Vocoder and playing with looooong vooooowel spellings.

    I went ahead and bought for the iPad. Only tried the two demo songs, and messed around with the voice synth a bit. It sounds fantastic to my ears. Looks and works pretty good on the iPad screen as well. Also "accidentally" bought Electribe for iPhone (I needed SOMETHING for the phone dammit). And that version will definitely see more usage then the iPad version of Electribe (while the iPhone MS10 def. will see more usage on the iPad then the MS20!).


    is it just me or is it almost impossible to use the new forum on iPad ? I'm using iCab as browser, can't tap anywhere to edit without it locking this white box, and it slides around as well(?)

    Well I bought it. And lost my evening to it.

    It is really fully featured. It's like Gadget in many ways. The automation is amazing. And there's loads to explore.

    The voice synth sounds great to me. Really high quality.

    I'd say the drum section isn't really as good as iEkectribe or other dedicated drum synths but that's to be expected. It's sufficient though.

    It's great though.

    Lack of connectivity is a Detune thing - in a way here it makes for accurate emulation of a DS app. MusicIO?

    Too much fun, hours after hours, couldn't sleep!

    Is there a way out of iDS-10 muisc to another iPad, I mean iPad audio port connecting to another iPad for recording?

    @Kaikoo as per an excellent @jakoB_haQ tutorial from a while back this DS situation is where the Behringer UCA202 (or something like it) might save the day: I've been using this to capture all manner of source into Audioshare and it works wonderfully.

    I've yet to try it with Korg's DS app but am hoping it's a Capture Solution until Korg (Detune) bless the masses with Output.

    Needed: two devices, UCA202, usb-to-iDevice adaptor, and patience while taking the long road with cables scattered about.

    Damn. I knew this moment would arrive sooner or later. The first app i want to have that isn't compatible with my trusty old Ipad 4. I have an Iphone 6 but that screen is just too small for me. Oh well....Santa?

    You could record with an iconnectaudio4 and 2 iPads. I sometimes do this with with non Audiobus compatible apps, basically treating one iPad as a piece of hardware. So you could then route the output of the DS 10 app into the Audiobus input slot of the other iPad.

    Tempted by all the love for this, but lack of midi connectivity puts me off as the drum part sounds weak to me.

    If i recall correctly it's after i changed both of the waveforms at the same time.

    When I was poking around the play button flashed multiple times before I had a change to understand what was going on (ie. the play button flashes when new 'bingo light' is activated).

    The bottom row is pretty easy, save/load a sound & save/load a project, but the last one on that row is still a mystery to me.

    iDS-10 really good for learning analog synthesizer, I am tempting to buy iMS-20. I have plenty music apps, this one is really making me loving Korg sound. Very straight forward for any beginners.

    @Kaikoo I've got iMS-20 too but do much prefer the iDS-10 for ease of use, the sequencer in iMS-20 is a real pain compared to iDS-10 :)

    I still have some hope left that Korg will update iMS-20 (It's the same developer as iDS-10) to include a better sequencer and a few more 'patching-points'. I love pulse-width modulation and that's not present in iMS-20, pulse width can be changed but not modulated with MG or Evelope, just 'steps' from the main sequencer. (The fondness of the MS-20 dates back to school days where the music-teacher modded the MS-20 with a soldering iron to allow PWM).

    Another 'update' that would be welcome in iMS-20 is use of 'y-cables' meaning patching same source to multiple destinations.

    Damn, I wish iDS-10 was a 'Gadget' already :D

    My finger is itching to buy this, sounds fantastic and having played on the original DS version, I know what a great fun synth that was. The only things that makes me hesitant are connectivity, the lack of and also will a version for the iPad be released. If this had a means of getting Audio out, well I would have already added it to my collection.

    One question I would like to ask you!

    Can iMS-20 sequencer be controlled by external virtual midi apps and the patterns based upon being recorded ? For example, midiSTEPs, MidiSequencer, and Lemur.

    iMS-20 and iElectribe on iPad are not dead,  I know they have plans to make them IAA instruments (not just generators) but no timescales as yet,  it would make sense to make them Link and AU compatible at the same time. Not sure this will happen though.

    They also think that having these as Gadgets is a good idea,  but no word as to whether this will actually happen or not.

    Hehe, Keyboard can be such big on iPad!  In an arrangement of 2 keys, 3 keys, 4 keys, 5.......on and on

    I found the Kaoss pad very interesting! If you adjust the keyboard to 2 keys, Kaoss only knows 2 keys, If you place 5 keys on the keyboard, Kaoss does following that mapping orders! It is very good for recording purpose. Good tip to know!
