But in reality, it's mostly of use to those who can afford to fire up a serious lawyer. Mostly, it keeps the rich richer, and those further down the ladder cannot access what they cannot afford, regardless of what the law says.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm NOT in favour of anyone stealing someone else's work and selling it as if it were there own. But copyright infringement regulations are most often used for control over creativity by corporations, not for the protection of artistes.
Now I have tested the new update of Amplifind...
It seems to be a very good update that not break the Audiobus/Spotify/Auria Pro (or other DAW) connection/ripping...
And, the new version of Amplifind seems more stable also... earlier it often crash after five minutes...
Good news!
I violate copyright by sampling this whacko late-night AM radio show called Coast to Coast, but because I will never make a penny off it, am beyond obscure, and have structured it into a makeshift religious practice, nobody will bother me.
On my Mac I use youtubetoMP3 by mediahuman to download an audio file from youtube. Of course, I only use it for music that is not commercially available. For the most part.
I've said it before, but I will say it again; B---- T---- is still the hands done easiest app for this purpose. It works beautifully.
Please, tell me what this abbreviation mean?
Dude, pm him! Jeez.
Done
I don't get it?
What's this secret approach about this app?
Why can't it be mentioned in public?
I'm confused...
Several of us do not want it to meet the same fate as others who had its capabilities. Over and out.
Ok, I got it...
Thanks...
I have to admit that seeing these theads on the forum always scares me...
If Apple 'breaks' B... T... (as they did with most other apps permitting to get YT audio) because someone got too mouthy on forums (hey @supadom lol, how are you doin' mate ?)... I'd be very pissed
These loopholes will definitely close, and not because of me (trust me). The good news is you always have the output jack (for now)
I was just kidding man, I would never make you responsible of Apple decisions on apps man ;-)
And if needed I always have my sonic port interface which permits me to record anything using an input jack, so I'm fine (but using BT with my own YT sampling playlists that I make while in the subway is so convenient for me to make sample based HH beats) ;-)
No aggravation
Can anyonw PM me the name of this secret B T app?
P.S.: I don't really want to download audio from Youtube (in fact, I agree with @MusicInclusive), it's because I'm damn curious about what B T means, lol.
FightClub would not approve of this chicanery
Tell that to Art Bell
Lawyers make rules to benefit artists.
Artists make music for the benefit of man.
Case closed.
TYPO
I MEAN TO BENEFIT LAWYERS................fucking stupid

LOL
I had a song that I did many years ago, and I can't find my own CD that I have, it's probably lost somewhere.
I downloaded my own song from youtube that I happened to find there which somebody else had uploaded, is it illegal to download my own track?
Am I guilty of copyright infringement? Should I be contacting a lawyer, so that I can sue myself?
Youtube quality beats 3:45 of silence, which is the alternative, because I don't seem to have the CD anymore.
And I wasn't trying to recover any master or rerelease the track, I just wanted to hear it, and for that, youtube saved the day for me.
I searched in Google and found this: https://www.apowersoft.com/record-audio-from-youtube.html
Seems like it has given a detailed guide on record YouTube audio.
Or you can take some downloading sites to download Youtube as MP3: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/downvids-net-youtube.html
After the downloading, then you can stream the audio to your iOS devices.
Also, these is an app: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/youtube-capture/id576941441?mt=8
You can download it at iTunes. Have a check.
Ok. Since saving videos and audio from YouTube is illegal, there is no way to find an app which would save it directly on iOS device. On the other hand you can use a computer and online services to save mp3 audio file from youtube and then transfer downloaded music to iPhone/iPad.
I use TuneFab Screen Recorder to help me record all the audio from the website like YouTube then I sync it to my ios device on i7 and iPad Air 2 so that I can enjoy what I want to listen on my 2 iOS Devices.
LumaFusion, works very nicely for us, recording to YouTube. Recording from it, is easily done via BeatTime. MovieToAudio will extract sound from any video made with or downloaded to your iPad.
