This baby has gotten lost somewhere in the back of the shed, must drag it out and give it a run...
I've been using it with KRFT sounds awesome. Really wish it was on iPhone cause my iPad is getting sluggish
Waveform editor!! Excellent! One of the very few things that kept DrumPerfect Pro from flawlessness was making sure your samples were "just so" before importing them. This flexibility to shape samples in app is so cool.
The EQ & compressor and room level sends are great additions too.
Thanks for the kickass update Marinus.
Great! Downloading now. Any new IAP kits?
P.S.: just read the info: 4 new kits!
I really should have bought the 64Gb, as I miss it. Which of the kid's games should I delete first?
It got a price increase, too - $20.99 USD now. The original DrumPerfect is one of my few regrets, so I will continue to pass on Pro unless this is something exceptional.
It truly is worth every cent! The realism of the samples and ability to have separate audio channels in AUM per instrument is awesome! I had KRFT sending midi to it and wow! Just wish again I could use it in some limited form on my iPhone SE.
@Marinus any chance you could do a stripped version for the iPhone? Mostly one that could be used as a sound module with of course limited options for the iPad version?
That is rather expensive. I'll wait till BM3, but I'm intrigued by the waveform editor, for sure. But unless I can chop my samples and send to pads, it's still not necessary.
The biggest one of course.
It's really first class, but probably too good for second class passengers (self).
Thanks @MusicMan4Christ.
Not yet decided if we will do an iphone version. Still discussing it.
Marinus, what about including positional velocity for the Live Pads?
Wow! I'm floored. This is such a fantastic and unexpected update. The envelopes, EQ per sample, and everything else are just so well done and useful. This is truly an amazing update. Even just having the cut-groups available to make things easier is a great thing.
Well done, and thank you @Marinus!
@theconnactic: an excellent idea and one of the (many) things on my wishlist too.
Great! Thank you!
@wim: thanks for your nice words. The update took us more than a year and has been an interesting journey in signal processing. Glad you like it!
Wow, the best (IMHO) just got better! Thanks!
I have, surprisingly, learnt that my kids aren't really that attached to (m)any of the games they have installed on their devices. When I sort them after size and have the kids themselves pointing at what should be uninstalled a surprising amount go, simply because they don't like them anymore or just gave some of them a spin and never opened it again. As long as Minecraft and some other game stay, the rest, which they download nilly-willy, can go.
@Marinus That such a page mixer?
@Gilbert Still waiting for the samba with brushes!
Congratulations for the upgrade! I was waiting for a long time .
Great job
I hope I finally get what is there with this app. So much potential, so little patience.
I hope my IAP finally are able to download.
Great update! I had several crashes after updating, though, mostly when launching or using the store. It got better after reinstall. But just wanted to give feedback that there maybe some stability issues to be fixed here. Otherwise great work! I got the Latin Percussion pack, good stuff!
Thanks for the update
I must admit the interface has always held me back from getting into this but will see if I can try again. Is it possible to automate everything like pitch shifting via midi ccs? That's a really important feature for me these days.
Yes, patience. This is one of the small handful of apps I feel I am missing out on by not spending a month one day really studying.
If only there were not some way to simplify this app perhaps more of us would be using it again. Perhaps an easy program button or magic or something.
I feel like it could be really good once you get over the initial learning hill and then you can freewheel down the other side. But right now I'm finding it difficult to even display the sample editor....
edit: ok I see now you have to press select and then press a sample then press view
@Marinus Is there a way to automate controls like pitch shifting via midi? If not I hope that's on your future list
The pitch shifting/time stretching is meant to tune the samples of an instrument in an off-line fashion. That is, not in real time.
Ah I see thanks. Real time pitch shifting would be great as it makes samples so organic and alive. But I can see that's extra work involved.
That's one way. Another is just pressing View directly. If no samples were selected before, the first one in the instrument will be shown. Otherwise the last selected sample will be shown.
The QuickStart guide available under the golden icon may help to overcome the initial hill ;-)
Mixer page is a great idea, on our wishlist.
