Figure.

Comments
Figure too
Yep. It has to be Figure. The app you keep around always whether it be for production, or when you just get frustrated with all the bloated stuff and feel like actually having fun with your music making.
Snap drum machine or Alchemy mobile if freemium is allowed, if not then Yamaha synth book with that glorious sounding AN-2015
BM3 now, but i have paid the Full Price and No Stress with this
Go Figure!
At the moment, my favourite is my recent discovery, MovieToAudio. Great for getting audio from video easily in several formats.
Works very well with iPad screen recorder, for use with apps that don’t allow recording.
Figure for all-time favorite. But GarageBand lately has been pretty favorite as well.
I don't even.....
(deviously smiles and shakes head)
Really
This sounds awesome!
How do you use Garageband as a DAW then?
Snap is cool.
Everything they do is to me.
Reactable is one my favorite companies. They are really into the music they make apps for so that rocks for me.
Plus, I find Reactable and UVI have best sound quality of any apps as far as samples.
Figure is special.
BeatMaker 1

It is proving handy.
One of the apps RTM uses has a license to play but does not have a licence to record, although we have a business arrangement to use content produced with it.
So, the method has been to record out into a Mac program, upload to Dropbox and download back to iPad for editing. MovieToAudio means we can record a video into Photos, then extract the audio straight into our preferred editing app! What a time saver.
SampleTank Free. I have the majority of the IAPs, but even the basic free model gives you a number of quality samples, MIDI, AB, IAA, etc...
I don’t. I export stuff as I don’t like the DAW part of it that much. I have been checking out the live loops mode lately. Tons of cool stuff in that section. I need to try the beatbox thing next.
I like Blocs Wave and Groovebox more than Figure.
Probably BM3 but I haven’t actually used it yet!
Well, gosh darn it, I had to pay about $5.99 for BlocsWave. Then they went and made it free, those greedy altruists!
Midimittr is a handy tool to have around. Just got an update too.
I'm ashamed to admit that I had similar feelings when this happened. The free version doesn't have audio import or slicer which are the features I use most often..
I wouldn't use it if it weren't free.
Groovebox is hardly free if you want to tweak your sounds at all
Here in the U.K. the wonderful altruists meet at the Dorchester. So pure in thought, word and deed!
MeatBaker 3 .. although I handed over mucho casho originally..
FM Player - the sounds are superb.
Many of the free apps mentioned here were not free originally. I’ve no regrets, and all were well worth the price...but among others I paid for GarageBand ($4.99) and Figure (99 cents I think).
Dude, totally!
Love FM Player!
I was just playin with that comment. I think if you buy the IAP functions that we received in the original purchase price, it comes to about the same amount. But I did pick up the EQ at the launch price as well recently. The EQ is really useful for me to not end up with a fat wall of noise after adding 8 loops together.
I didn't misinterpret your comment @CracklePot, you don't seem like the angry type, but mine was genuine. I will say that after 5 minutes I realised how stupid I was in getting annoyed about it. I was slightly disappointed that eq was the first effect added (I wanted that sweet launchpad delay) but grabbed it on sale and really like it also, very useful for getting things to blend well together and saves me some time in Ableton after export.
