    Where?

Adverb2 I will get once it's out, Synthmaster One I'm not so sure about to be honest...

    On Beepstreet FB page today.

  • Found it after Googling a bit but thanks anyway :)
Somehow I still wish Dagger would drop for iOS not to mention Sunrizer AUv3.

This new Drumbo feels like a cross between elastic drums and seekbeats but with AUv3 support I presume.

  • I only really want Animoog, Kymatica AUFX and Sugar Bytes effects apps as AU (and a few more stability patches for BM3), then I’m satisfied.

  • I remember when I was excited because we got MTDaw, JamUp, FunkBox, and NLog, SoundPrism and Loopy! That was all we needed back then. You young whippersnappers!

There is always a new app around the corner, Synthmaster for example. Audio Damage ADVerb2 coming very soon. Beepstreet Drambo modular drum work in progress shown today. Plus all the great updates.

I has got quieter than two years ago mind, market saturation.

Yah the updates from things like BM3, Cubasis, Gadget ('Files' Sugar Bytes?) etc and sequels like the new Synthmaster or Patterning excite me more now rather than purely new new new all the time.

As for the market I think that people were getting into it, excited at the potential, maybe sensing they were at the beginning of a wave and may get swept up into it but now that wave is just a little further down the horizon and a more gradual swell.

I’ve been exponentially more productive on iPad in the past year compared to the first 3 years I had one. Most of it is me personally, but a healthy amount has been the market settling down.

    100%

I am doing things in a way I COULDNT ON MY MACBOOK because of the methods and impulse creative spurts in conjunction with the greater better quality or improvements to apps.

  • I guess now is a good time to really give credit to the apps from the early days that still get it done.

    For me

    Animoog
    Thor
    Audioshare
    Twisted Wave
    Bassline
    Sunrizer

The early apps still have my heart in many cases....

Me too... but i credit the 2017 ipad, BM3 and Cubasis2... oh and the FAC AUs and Zeeon and Kauldron and the old standbys like Egoist, Patterning, Gadget, the Louis Drummer suite and Audioshare and Files and... what was my point?

Well I got use Air 2 and I can say that I noticed the same.

I think each of us are finding ways to really personalize music making.

As opposed to a PC or MAC DAW, there are limited ways to really do things and how you do it.

    The iOS world is different.

So many interesting people trying new things and new apps that allow new things.

There are people who are kind of like workflow junkies where the creative is in the wiring up and figuring out of non standard configs and those who just want a clear path and to 'do it right'. iOS is a noodler paradise. So addictive... that one breakthrough of trick, just around the corner and never settling into one deal for very long.

The truth is for me if Apple would find a way to port Logic in a usable way for an iPad and someday i could get Kontakt and a modular like P900 on it i could go without a mac maybe too :)

The thing about iOS that does it for me (mostly and from an audio point of view) is having "open in"....this generally makes it far more enticing and comfortable to just open an app, fiddle and make something without the need for all the planning of well if I do this in here, how am I going to get it over there...I need to jump through hoop A B C...

Having "Open In" for MIDI would be the icing.

  • With so many apps per week theres bound to be heaps of crap. Quality over quantity please.

Just stop, already. Please. You are making me feel sympathy for the Apple app reviewers. :D

Yeah me too. Browsing samples in Audioshare, and being able to scroll through a list of apps to use them in is a workflow dream. One click, done. Would be great for MIDI.
