YAY!
Yesterday: "Hey, I just bought all the things that I need!"
Monday: Auria pro Sale.
thanks Rim!
All that PRO-L 2 hype a few months ago has subsided now... I'm going to have to look up a few videos again to convince me to spend $20 for that "one day when I'm mastering my own albums"
Or maybe I'll just go ahead and buy it.
@WaveMachineLabs when is the next stabilizing release of Auria? I already have all the FF plugins. Auria is by far the best DAW on iOS...
But...Yesterday and for the first time this year I had to switch back to Cubasis to freeze my MIDI tracks and finally reimported the waves in Auria to do the mix. I am currently experiencing some really bad instabilities with virtual instruments in Auria and I wonder if you are aware of this (I hope you are) and what will be done.
Great plugins deserve great environment
I'm not aware of any issues with virtual instruments and Auria. I recommend only using Audio Unit versions, not IAAs though. IAAs are known to be very buggy.

Here's one to get you started:

Would be good if FAC Envolver worked with Auria Pro.
So to upgrade to Pro-L2: is $19.99 the sale price? Or am I just not seeing the actual half-off reflected until I put it in my cart?
Prices for FAB Filter plugs look like they are the standard price still in the UK. For Ex. Pro R is £38.99. Auria Pro version 2.18. Anyone else see a price drop. @WaveMachineLabs ?

Yep, me too. Prices still full
Presumably this will correct itself in due course. We must always remember business is US uber alles.
Are the other plug-ins also on sale?
The Auria store inside the app shows full prices for me as well. I think we just need to give it a little time.
I can never see the discount prices in the store.
Will Auria ever be on iPhone? I have an iPad too but it’s better to have it on both.
I clicked thru to purchase FabFilter L-2, and still shows full price up to the point of asking for my iTunes password. I didn’t go further to see if discount is applied later...

The full versions and upgrades of Auria are all 50% off. All of the FabFilter plugins and upgrades will be 50% off as well but may not start until later today/tonight so please keep checking back
OK, prices have changed. Now the question is: Is Pro L-2 THAT much better/different than Pro L, which was when it came out the World's Greatest and Most Necessary Plug-in Ever?
What’s the difference between Auria and Auria Pro?
Auria Pro has MIDI, virtual instruments, real time audio warping and a few other things I don’t remember right now,.
It has some functions that Pro L doesn’t have. But Pro L is already miles ahead of anything else on iOS and is still fantastic, so it’s more a question of wanting rather than needing.
Yes prices now down in UK.
Main advantage is the metering, as per the video I posted earlier in the thread. But it has some other really great features such as True Peak Limiting and much greater oversampling options. It's by far the cleanest sounding limiter on iOS IMO, and to be honest there just isn't anything else as feature complete and transparent on the platform.
Rim has confirmed in previous posts that it's a "N"ever. Not ever.

scroll down to the table with a comparison of the two versions
Shame!
Thanks!
219 Norwegian Crones poorer,
but now a FabFilter PRO L-2 richer...
Now u just gotta clear my head somewhat, to read the manual...
Its my weekend off, so this will feel like rehab
Did they get rid of Twin 2?
Why would they? It’s the best synth on iOS!
Well I don’t see it in my shop. Wasn’t just random question.
Pro-L 2 Upgrade doesn't show up as installed on both of my iPads (bought it end of march) in the store section of the app (there's a price tag shown), but in the projects I've used it it's there
finally bought Volcano today
