Yes, mainly like VCV works with extern FX plug-ins.
They won‘t work per sample but inside buffer blocks.
Hey Bop, I love this job!
Bang!
.... or should I have said Bop!
Do you like the BopPad, @giku_beepstreet ? I've been thinking of getting one for a while!
I like it so far. Its well built, portable (thin and lightweight) and works: no crosstalks, lost events etc.. The only problem is that its hard to play with hands, due to limited sensitivity. I need yet to test different settings.
So stoked you've landed a BopPad and hoping that you can show us cool tricks with drambo. For hand drumming, which is my favorite with the BP, the global sensitivity in the preferences has the biggest impact on the playing experience. I set it at around 75-80 for hand drumming.
You still have to change settings from a Mac/PC, right?
Correct.
Thanks for the tips!
Hmmm... Where can I set "Global sensitivity" ? There is only sensitivity per quadrant and this can be set to maximum 10.
Editor’s Top bar. Preferences.
What does one of these cost?
Can you hook impaktor up to it?
No its a MIDI controller.
@supadom @lukesleepwalker thanks a lot! works! btw. having some problems with velocity... seems these values are not always related to real velocity, sometimes when I tap pad lightly I get quite a big values.. its random. Have you experienced this?
I've had the same random velocity issues using Keith McMillen's Qunexus and K-Board. They're still very good midi mini keyboards overall, but would be really special if they could improve the velocity response. I've wondered if their other products have similar velocity issues.
Connected directly to ipad via cck and the problem disappeared. My prev configuration was boppad->macbook-> bluetooth midi -> ipad
Good to hear. I've had Qunexus/K-Board velocity issues with direct connections to ipad via cck and iphone 8+ via cck.
I've never had velocity issues when connected directly to iPad via CCK. Glad it worked out once you connected directly. Need a video of you playing BP with drambo!
There’s certainly room for Drambo in my setup!

So far (ipad pro 12'9)
iPhone SE inside GB. Sequencer appears as overlay after tapping OPEN button - bigger AU window is also available
wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowow!!!!
Looking great, really like the simple graphics (flat knobs, etc).
Wow is right! This is turning into an epic piece of kit. You might want to reconsider the name of the app again as you've developed this well past the original intent and I'm not sure drambo reflects the depth or breadth of what this app now does.
there will be blood
Ha, good one!
Did you work out the boppad stuff?
Yep, thats what I was talking about.. The new name will be probably MEGO (music lego, modular ego
Nope, the last code gave me a stuck B0 note on first strike, then nothing. Tried it with Laplace and Zeeon. No dice. I’ve given up on that for now. It was taking too much of my time and way too much going back and forth between the iPad and the laptop.
I’m secretly hoping that Mego is going to sort out all of my BopPad troubles, especially since Jarek now has got Bop.
Every drum box on IOS that I own (ED, SM, DM1) has failed in one way or another. Even Circuit has this silly thing that it overwrites all CC values unless the record button is disengaged, which I guess IS logical. Better too many options than not enough I guess
