Id ask how you got venue access without speaker experience, but I’m more intrigued to know what you’ll play since theres no completed music.
SeekBeats... 100%. Set up multiple channels as layers, tweak the amazing envelopes, use the built in modular effects. Or run individual channels out into AUM to use other fx eq comp. etc.
No other iOS app can touch it. None.
The most brutal kick drums will usually be made by versatile analog oscillators and good filters plus analog amplification. FM is good too, but won”t kick them away.
Compression and EQing does the rest.
Layering drums with samplers is the most worse technique in my opinion. This often will lead to phase cancellations and lost pressure or just sterile tones with no character.

Heh, been layering synth kicks with my real drums for ages. I guess I didn't get the memo.
I don't know if it's the biggest hardest but the bass drum osc in Spectrum sounds really good to my ears
I layered up a few kicks in GarageBand, and it sound H-U-G-E.
Maybe I should try to mix in some 808 bass for tuned hits…

Thanks for mentioning it, I thought I have all apps and I was still unhappy with kick synths out there - nor with synthdrum kick, ruismaker, not even noir... Elasticdrums were close but still missing something. Seekbeats has surprisingly very good sounding kicks, but also other sounds are very usable to me. Only pity it's not AUv3 or at least AB3 with state saving...

As far as iOS...BM3 Sampler or Obsidian. Layering is your friend and quite easy to create whatever kick sound you desire.
