I find being on a beta actually does take the hype and excitement out of a app once it’s released. I am currently on about 10 betas and half the apps I test I don’t actually buy as you get that feeling I had it for free why do I now feel the need to throw money at it and you get 90 days from beta release before it dies. The good ones however do make it into my Apple account! I’m sure Drambo would be one of these buy tomorrow apps as Beepstreet apps are quality.
It's not about bugs, but conversation time * number of testers
We discuss all aspects.
maybe best to let the dev get on with it, he is getting close. This give me give me is a distraction.
Don’t worry, it was a turd comment
It will launch when everybody on this forum is a beta tester, and not a moment sooner.
Of course. I was trying to be funny and clearly wasn't successful.
Honestly, I'm relieved. I've been in a great focused groove with the apps and setup I have, and this looks like an app that I'm going to have to LEARN, and figure out how to INCORPORATE and OH MY GOD that screen shot of an AU CLIP LAUNCHER actually gave me shortness of breath.
I could use the holidays to focus on other things. Drambo in the depths of the New York winter will be fantastic.
NY winter here too, but on the shores of Lake Ontario. You?
Maybe we should close this thread an ban all Drambo discussion until the App Store holiday freeze... maybe if we‘re lucky we can delve into it inbetween holidays lol. I‘d certainly prefer that over a 2020 release.
You wrote 'tread' instead of thread. Tread means something different! Here's an example of usage.
"This thread is full of trolls. Tread carefully!"
Please don't! All will disappear!
Oh c'mon - half the fun is 86 pages of anticipation.....
Even though I'd love to have Drambo now, it's really been fascinating to me watching it take shape. Best of lucks with this last push to @giku_beepstreet and all beta testers!

Totally agree.. might as well 😎
I'm with @tja on this one.
The unending megathread is entertaining ONLY for those who have time to follow. It's also kind of cliquey and a terrible way to disseminate information.
Not much fun for those of us not beta-testing either...
And I don't even dare to add more requests to the cue and postpone the release...
Still missing the 'Parameter Name' on the 'Parameter Lock Bars' in the step edit as each locked parameter gets one but it's impossible to see which parameter is locked when adding trig conditions on a step.
Not to mention the 'Zeeon/SH-101' style Step Recorder...
Another app (which I'm also testing) called Auditor added a nice preview function to the standard Document Picker that allows preview of audio files from just about any location (USB FlashDrives, SMB etc.) prior to import, would be nice to see that in Drambo's document picker as well but save that for a future release or something.
It'll drop when it drops
Totally, and while I could see a point to having a private beta tester chat, I'm grateful to watch the sausage as it's being made.
But when it finally emerges from its chrysalis, Drambo will need a new thread!
I like hearing that. You guys will need a holiday after all this!
Did I mention that sequencer has an ielectribe style motion recorder that records as p locks values? You move a pot while sequencer is running/recording and the motion gets played back. Very useful performance tool IMO.
GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY
Yeah, it's quite cool but it would be so handy to see the locked value when editing a step and to be able to adjust it
Each locked value just gets a red 'Parameter Lock Bar' in step edit but there is no way to see which lock is which parameter making it tedious to add conditions to them or remove just one of the locked parameters on a step.
But yeah, there's plenty of stuff in there already...
Yes that’s true. I see it more like a fun performance tool as opposed to a precise input option. It’s also tied to step so not as smooth as ielectribe. Still, can bring cool results that would be tedious to program in step by step.
I thought it was only the second.
