The desktop quadravox is stunning, great gui but probably too powerful/complex to port iOS. would recommend trying the demo.

Delighted to have a slightly less fancy looking but still amazing sounding version with a few features omitted in my pocket.

  • The Doug’s version

  • Here is my tutorial video with lots of examples used with voice, synths, drum and guitar, hope you enjoy the video😊

  • Thank you Sir Doug!

As I just mentioned on the YT page, you did a great job with QVox, but I REALLY appreciated the LFO snapshot also which is something I am usually blind to/about. Good work.

According to Eventide, voices A and C are panned hard right and B and C hard left. “This is fixed and cannot be changed”

While you may get nice spread by doing that, it would be nice to pan two voices half left/right (if you are using all four), or pan wherever you want depending on how your mix is.

That’s a silly limitation, if they’ve gone with stereo path might have just as well given us the option to pan.

  • Gawd, another one I thought I'd be able to skip until I watched Doug's vid.

Will have a decent xmas list for apps this year, though if the £15 iTunes voucher I spotted in Mrs Monzo's Tesco carrier yesterday is destined for my stocking, I'll have dig into my own wallet...

It’s cheaper than Blackhole so maybe it is an Intro sale?

  • I thought 16.99€ is their normal price. BH is even more expensive? Hui... @gusgranite

Blackhole seems to be priced higher, I'm guessing it's the full price as they don't seem to do intro offers.

I'll wait for the New Year sales.

Just in case anyone wants to do similar stuff with Discord 4, including individual pitch shift channel panning, smooth LFO pitch modulation and being able to play the chords on a keyboard too, here's an example AUM project.
Download using the Browser in Readdle Documents, rename the file extension to ".zip", extract and open in AUM.

Don't forget to open the AUM keyboard in StreamByter to play a chord.
Lots of fun using a Bluetooth headset :#

I have bought this object and am happily thinking what I can do with it (plenty), but I REALLY already hate the hard pan/no choice thing. Don;t know whether these guys have ever shown any flexibility/listen to their punters, but please.....

yep, i’m not in on this one until I’ve gone back and xmessed a bit more with AD discord4.. this seems a little too ‘fixed’ parameters wise.. though the preset scales might save some time.. don’t like the fixed left right panning .
McMonz £15 seems a little stingy on yr missusesesuses part! i just went on a jaunt to Walkden tesco ( you can get lost in there ) and to score a £25 card with this 15% discount touted elsewhere on the forum.. only to find it’s only 10% discount.. hardly worth the petrol!! the Hillman ( app not minx ) maybe mine later for Doldinging around.. the Voxsyn can wait until fixes.. to the uk bundle price AND the app itself..

  • This is the same as the Quadravox algorithm in H9, right?

I don't own Discord4, is it possible to set base note and scale in that one too, like in QVox?

Discord4 is my favourite fx - I'd do the @rs2000 thing but don't have Streambyter - but could probably get a similar effect by fiddling about n stuff. I think I'll be interested in QVox in a sale though, it had the right amount of Flying Teapot for my kidneys, and I giggled all the way through Doug's vid, like an idiot.

She is bloody stingy. I might see if I can take the present I bought her back and get a refund, that fiver might come in handly later for drowning my sorrows. Get in the fridge, get out of the fridge, get in the fridge, get out of the fridge, GET BACK IN THE FRIDGE!!!!

My totally unscientific prediction is they're going to win. You can laugh at me later if you want :)

Unfortunately I think the turkeys will undoubtedly be voting for a Tory Christmas.

On the plus side (if there is one) I'll have an excuse to just go out and buy every single thing I can think of, since the prices will be going through the roof next year, courtesy of the UK having no decent trade deals whatsoever/Brexshit, and massive import duties and tax being whacked onto everything we buy.

If you own Mozaic, you can load this patch from
    https://patchstorage.com/poly-it-up-channel-rotator/
and use it. Streambyter does nothing but split the chord into single notes on different MIDI channels that the Discord instances listen to. Mozaic can do that too.

Somebody would have to add this functionality to the Streambyter or Mozaic script. It's perfectly possible, actually this already exists in other scripts, just not all-in-one, but I'm not experienced enough with either of these, and I can't do everything ;)
Maybe you could chain two Streambyter/Mozaic instances and first use the scaler, then the poly distributor?

Eventide previously mentioned the iOS apps will be ports of the H9 algorithms. Can’t afford hardware Eventide but I’m guessing that’s the case

The H9 algorithms on the AppStore cost 19.99 each and you need to buy multiple pedals to get multiple instances.

They could double the price of these apps and it would still be a bargain.

Ah I wasn't aware that they were all gonna be ports of H9 algos. I do agree that they're a bargain and I love the convenience of multiple instances, I was just asking because the name wasn't exactly the same and it could therefore be more limited than the H9 version.
