Same here, but with the "transfer IAPs to Cubasis 3" page... seems like it is detecting that I have purchased C3, but not that I have already done the transfer...
BTW transferring my projects from C2 to C3 has gone easy and smooth via share function... so, if nobody is screaming "stop, don't do it!!", I am going to delete C2 soon.
Hi @marliess,
Do you have further details, why the shop did not open with every launch?
Can reproduce the issue on the iPad Pro 12.9" 1st Gen myself.
Of course, opening the shop at every launch is not intended.
Best,
Lars
Hi @AH_MediaDesigns,
For sure, opening the shop at every launch is not intended, but a simple bug.
Why should we do such stupid things?
Best,
Lars
Hi Lars,
have you tried something like this:
??
Are you getting stable timing?
In my case its simply broken..
cheers
lutz
It's well known that you can not trust these cpu meters and newer ipads throttle the cpu different than older ones.
Hi @LFS, I don’t recall cubasis opening straight to the shop at any time since the 2.8.2 update. I’m on an iPad 2018 with latest iOS. I was really just highlighting that the shop bug is not universal. I’ve only opened a couple of projects since updating and have noticed no issues at all. CPU seemed lower than the previous version if anything, and no functional bugs/ glitches at all
The bug occurred for me when opening Cubasis 2.8.2 after installation, and always occurs after force quitting the app. I've posted this in the Cubasis 2 Forum but no response yet.
Hi @tja,
I fully understand that you experience issues with Cubasis 2.8.2 at this moment.
After the release of Cubasis 3 we receive huge feedback on several forums and social media channels, and I do my best monitoring all of them to give feedback.
Unfortunately, I am unable to reply to the huge number of replies posted by you in this thread.
Let's try to clearly break things down tomorrow, so I am able to easily understand your issues, and to share them with the team afterwards.
Will get in touch with you via private message tomorrow morning.
Thanks,
Lars
Hi @tja, sorry don’t have either of those apps...I do mainly guitar stuff. I opened a project with 18 audio tracks + 4 au’s of isymphonic midi. This worked fine with around 50% cpu / no crackling. I duplicated the isymphonics to 8 midi tracks. This played fine for about 10 seconds with no cracking and 75% cpu, before the sound crackled then totally dropped out, with the project becoming unresponsive. Restarted cubasis and went back to 4 au’s and it worked fine again. So yeah, 8 midi tracks with AU was unusable for me also
I’d love to hear the outcome of this, if there is a workaround. I’m experiencing the exact same issues on the 2019 ipad mini (which is to be expected, as apart from size they are the same ipad). I hope you find a fix soon!
Hi @tja,
Please have a look at my private message, which includes our bug report form.
Let's exchange about your issues tomorrow!
Best,
Lars
Hi tja,
Judging the screenshot all tracks are muted.
Could this be the reason?
Best,
Lars
I'm not a regular Cubasis user, but I'm not seeing any obvious issues with the new update on my 12.9 2nd gen
Ultra Low latency increases the chance of crackles. Medium (which is really high as you rightly point out) should be less prone to crackles. Lower latency = higher CPU usage.
tried the project and loading/playing ok here....even at ultra low
The project plays and reloads fine here on Air 2 even at Ultra Low.
What are your audio settings under "Project"? (not under Audio in the settings)
