    I'm not sure I understand. If the cc automation is coming from elsewhere then the matrix will record it. If you want to generate the cc automation from within LK, then you need the midi controller IAP.

    Matrix cell width and height are currently global settings. It is not saved per session. If you change on one session, it will affect other session. Maybe it is time to change that.

    @Poppadocrock @wim maybe I understand what you mean by generate cc automation, but to me that would be clip automation (in LK matrix), where you can add a cc destination and generate/automate a cc value over time

    It works with AUM global session state saving and that’s the most important, I missed that thanks. But I initially found that it’s not saved in presets state saving (both LK and AUM presets systems). That’s less crucial but still can be useful to have presets with various Matrix size ratio.

    I tried yesterday several times and it’s sure it not works anymore, even with AUM global session state saving. Difference since those earlier posts is iPadOS update, and perhaps also LK update.

    Can someone please explain the benefits of why I need this, I understand this is midi only, is it easy to launch audio clips from AUM file player ?
    I enjoy using atom 2, and AUM

    Nah your good. That helps. I want to record/draw in cc changes either by using on screen knob/slider movements or with midi keyboard movements over a decent period of time, not just 8 bars, maybe 64. then have that loop or trigger, then send it to an any app in AUM that’s mappable. Also the ability to do that and have multiple different “cc sections” that you can change between for different Parts of a song, so like a cc clip launcher I guess, that you can also record/draw/edit the cc values over an extended period of time. I Hope I’m making sense lol.

    For example maybe I want a filter cutoff at whatever for 48 bars, then have it slowly open up for 16 bars, making 64 bars, then loop. Even have a couple different ones, maybe one part of the track I have a high filter rate and depth creating that wah/gate sound for 16 bars, then it switches to another depth and speed for 16 bars, etc.. then it goes to a set amount for 32 bars. Then I switch back to the first one. All just examples.

    I just like having options as well, the way I work in AUM you kind of need all the different pieces to build the puzzle. Sure I have favorites but it’s good to mix it up too. I also like to approach creating with an open mind, so I’m always using different apps to start a track, trying new ways to use those apps, new combinations of the apps, etc… and see what happens.

    Very excited about the upcoming beta release of Loopy Pro. I love LK and I’ve managed to get it working with audio, I’ve a done a couple of pretty intricate projects, but it’s just too much hassle. I believe that’s going to change with Loopy Pro which seems like a perfect match for LK covering all audio.
    I actually begged for LK audio clips in the past and the great Imaginando people were right in that it was too big of a project, it certainly makes sense to specialize and do one thing well. To me that means AUM as a host, Loopy hosted as auv3 and LK as orchestrator, midi and song part brains.
    @sinosoidal might be a dumb idea, but I’m thinking a specialized Loopy Pro IAP for LK. A module that premaps and makes integrating Loopy Pro easier, without having to set custom mappings and have it feel more integrated. Maybe in the form of special loopy clips that don’t need notes or ccs and instead have dropdowns or menus to choose Loopy actions. Could be a game changer.

    The keyboard has the pads layed out randomly, is this normal??
    I expected pad 1 to be at the bottom then pad 2 next etc, but it’s not ….

    @tahiche @sinosoidal I was thinking of the exact same workflow as @tahiche was mentioning for my live dub reggae setup. Aum hosting LK as midi song arranger and Loopy Pro as sound clips. Aum would give me the effect buses I need for live dubbing. So integration with loopy clips from LK would be exactly what I need. Only ”problem” I see is that in this setup LK and Loopy is hosted in Aum hence integration between is decided by Aum, I’m probably very wrong and I hope integration is possible.

    From what’s been advanced about Loopy Pro it should have extensive midi implementation to perform multiple tasks. LK sends midi and Loopy listens and reacts, all good (btw Loopy can send midi too). That means integration should be fine. But it’ll take the usual tweaking, finding what Cc does what, etc, which is always time consuming and can be difficult to figure out. That’s why it’d be interesting to have an LK specialized module of sorts or specialized integration to make it a lot easier and more transparent. I don’t know if it’s doable or what kind of problems or limitations would come up.
