@syrupcore : there are mix ins, plug the other osc there and the mix sum into the filter in, patch the envelope or lfo to cutoff, la voila.

I spotted this link of mother-32 samples by Haxan Cloak...

Just checked the manual and it only says it goes through the filter.

I looked at the manual too and I don't read it that way. From the description it sounds like the aux in replaces the internally patched noise. So then the oscillator and the external audio would go through the complete internal signal chain. But one would need to check in store to be certain.

Also I'm confused as to what the mix inputs (1 & 2) are in comparison to the External Input. Anyone able to shed some light on that?

EDIT - I guess they are just independent control CV input for the two mixer channels, right?

nah, you can mix cvs, and u can mix audio ...

external in brings audio to modular level (line out is to quiet)

    all 3+ rack is 2116 $
thats a very good price for what you get

if i had money to burn I'd get 1 of these and mix it with the new roland stuff and some more exotic things like source of uncertainty
lol, I don't want to like this, I keep telling myself that I don't want it. haha

Yeah. They are for CV control of the mix knobs, not audio sources for mixing.
