Synthmaster:"Great update&GUI but too many bugs!

@lbiyikoglu Oversampling was turned off and I had these issues without using a DAW. If I record into AudioShare I can hear the glitching while I'm playing but these glitches are not present in the recording. The glitch issues are particularly bad if I use a MIDI app like SP Electro which sends lots of MIDI notes. The PD Fresh Cut UK patch from the 2.7 factory presets is particularly problematic. These problems occur even when I lower the output volume to avoid clipping. Deleted and reinstalled Synthmaster Player on the iPad Air 2 on iOS 9.2 to see if it would resolve the issues and it didn't.

Don't have these issues with an iPhone 6 on iOS 9.2 or an iPad Mini 2 running iOS 8.4.

i would love to buy the pro upgrade and some soundpacks now but it crashes all the time in Auria and Auria pro (as an IAA instrument and as a generator)whenever i just stop aurias sequencer from the IAA panel or simply switch backt and forth both apps.Not usable at this point,anybody else having this issues?

My experience was that things got significantly worse after I bought the Pro upgrade. CPU usage is through the roof which leaves many of the presets unusable.

@Crabman I was able to get Synthmaster player to record in Cubasis IAA both as audio and as a MIDI track and both worked. I tried to do the same in Auria Pro and it recorded the MIDI but didn't send out MIDI to Synthmaster player. It also gave me a CPU overload message with just two tracks using no effects. I was very disappointed with this aspect of Auria Pro and got a refund which I hadn't done with any app before so I had to look up how to do so online.

okay,if it's something rim can sort out,i'll probably buy at least the pro upgrade now.There is no doubt he'll fix it if he can reproduce the issue.I'm also still using the Auria Pro beta and file bugreports to bugzilla.Using cubasis i not an option anymore since AP.If it doesn't run in auria,i don't need it.Thanks for your impressions!

@ben: even more worth than crashing all the time?Sounds promising,lol.

i just tried it in Cubasis and Auria again.Works in cubasis and crashes always in auria whenever i press start/stop on the IAA panel.It's reproducable and therefore easy for rim (or KV331) to have a look at it.Should be easy to fix as well i guess.

I have been in contact with Rim regarding this, he asked me to file this with the KV331 team which I did via eMail.

btw,anyone knows if there is a plan for an AU version?

What stop me playing Synsmaster is the bounce midi track thing with Synthmaster player in Auria. For my experience, there are plenty of synth apps can do bounce for midi track, I have failure with Synsmaster player! So the question for me seems something pointing to SM Player IAA. It needs a fixing, I guess!

**Wait! One can record the midi played on Synthmaster to cubasis? Didn't work for me. Also not with StudioMux feeding S1 Pro/Ableton.

I actually don't get why so much iOS synths out there lack a midi note OUT as they seem to invest in a polished keyboard with scale and chord functions but then this is missing. Hardware units like Clavia/Yamaha have Notes on and off msg IN/OUT since decades. Back to the 80' I think

Btw. I upgraded to Pro and getting crackels and dropouts using SM with StudioMux using a midi keyboard and monitoring SM output in DAW. Playing on SMs interface is fine. iPad Air1/9.2
